💙 When Dapper Dan Talks Fashion, We Listen Closely.

At the Golden Style Kids Runway Fashion Show, something happened that meant more to me than just another fashion moment.

After seeing Jiggykidz bring Autism Awareness to the runway through fashion, Dapper Dan pulled me aside to share his thoughts on fashion with a purpose—and the impact fashion, designers, and models can have when they stand for something bigger than themselves.

Hearing him acknowledge what Jiggykidz is doing truly meant a lot.

Dapper Dan, Jiggykidz thanks you. 🙏🏾

You helped lay the groundwork for inner-city youth to believe that their creativity, their ideas, and their dreams can become something real. You showed us a blueprint and, most importantly, showed us that it’s possible.

Your words gave me another level of encouragement to keep building Jiggykidz—even through the struggles, the challenges, and the moments when the journey gets difficult.

Sometimes, hearing a few words from someone who has already walked the road can remind you why you started walking it in the first place.

So, thank you for pulling me aside. Thank you for recognizing the vision. And thank you for reminding me to keep going.

Jiggykidz believes fashion can be more than something we wear.

Fashion can create awareness.
