A beautiful day of community on Larkin Street 💛

The Oasis girls came out to help us paint and brighten up the street tree planters along Larkin, adding a little more color and care to the neighborhood.

What we love about days like this is that the impact keeps going. After volunteering, they earned SFLuv and were able to spend it right here in the neighborhood at Sforganica or Outta Sight.

That is what SFLuv is all about: giving people a reason to show up for their community, while also supporting the local merchants who make these neighborhoods special.

A few hours of volunteering can turn into cleaner, brighter streets, new connections, and more dollars staying with local businesses.

Thank you to the Oasis girls & Renee for showing up and helping make Larkin Street a little more beautiful. 💚

Today we’re proud to share SFLuv’s first Annual Impact Report. ❤️

More than anything, this report is a thank-you.

Thank you to our community and Affiliate partners who believed in this experiment from the beginning. Thank you to our donors who gave us room to build. Thank you to every volunteer who showed up, cleaned a block, tried the app, gave feedback, and came back again.

And especially, thank you to the Tenderloin merchants who came along with us before everything was polished because they believed in the idea of turning community improvement into local economic activity.

We can now say something that feels both small and enormous:

SFLuv works.

Volunteers and local placemakers earn SFLuv for improving the neighborhood. Merchants accept it. Community partners use it. And those rewards stay circulating in the neighborhood.

We’re still early, and there’s a lot more to build, but we’re incredibly proud of how far this community has come.
