You can find my full review on GoodReads but Between Tides and Thunder was such an exciting read and exactly the kind of romantasy I love getting lost in. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves enemies-to-lovers, strong female main characters, political intrigue, magic, and a story where the line between enemy and ally isn’t always so clear.

Let me tell you, this book had me STRESSED at times! Be sure to check the trigger warnings before starting!

⚡️Leena Kazak⚡️ Fantasy⚡️ Indie Author⚡️ by @tlclark13

I remember having days when I truly thought it would never get better. That there would never be a light at the end of the tunnel. That there would never be a day when I didn’t feel absolute crushing sadness. That I would never feel ok.
.
.
I remember reading Reasons to Stay Alive for the first time and just sobbing on my couch. I had never felt so understood by a stranger before. Knowing there was another person in the world who had felt or was feeling was I was feeling, was a painfully beautiful realization. Just to know I wasn’t alone…
.

.
So hang in there. Ask for help. Talk to your doctor. Talk to your friends, or family. You aren’t alone. Please stay.

Blood oaths, dangerous trials, COOL magics, taking down elitists - I love it all! 🤩
.
.
I am painfully weak for characters who are a little broken. I can’t help it ok?! They just speak to me on my deepest level. And shadow magic is just *chefs kiss imo.
.
.
Also, I am such a sucker for books where the MC has to compete in trials. Excited to pick up book two!

Be sure to check the trigger warnings for this one!

📚What is a book you’ve read recently you’d recommend?📚

You can find my full 5 🌟 review on goodreads but Untamed by Analise Song is definitely one to add to your TBR 💙

I absolutely adored this book. From the very beginning, I was completely swept up in the world, the magic, and the characters. Untamed had everything I could possibly want in a fantasy: fast-paced adventure, political intrigue, unique magic, quests, betrayal, unlikely alliances, and of course… a little ✨spice✨.

The pacing of this story was *chefs kiss. There was always something happening, and I constantly found myself thinking, “Okay, just one more chapter…”. It was such a joy to have a book I genuinely looked forward to picking up every day. by @tlclark13

We have had the pleasure of Dolly being with us for just over 4 weeks now and we love her to bits and pieces 🥰 She had dental surgery this past week to remove some broken teeth and will be off to her forever home soon. She has wiggled her way deeep into my heart, but how lucky am I to be loved by her ♥️
