Hands in the air for the track 🙌💃🎶
But seriously, can we all stop with the, "Everybody in medieval England had two sleeps" nonsense?

Scan the QR code or head to tlclarkauthor on @substack for my thoughts on sleep in the Middle Ages.

You and I sit on this bench in these tranquil surroundings.
What do we discuss?

~ Do we talk of spooky tales?
~ Ponder a whimsical life?
~ Just chat?
~ Or something else?

It's nice to have options!
But will Lady Anne choose the right suitor?
For this is Regency England, and not all the Ton are honourable 🧐

Autumn has arrived. Conkers are around (as pictured). Leaves are changing into their wardrobe of reds. A chill is in the air.

Lady Anne is a duke's daughter.
This is her own thoughts as she enters the perilous marriage mart. For not all the Ton are honourable.

The doors do not shut on the marriage night.

"Reads just like a Jane Austen novel." ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
