Sorry it’s been a while since my last post, but I’ve been recently brewing a big one. Ever since April 15th, all the way to May 20th, roughly an entire span of a Month and a week, I wanted to challenge myself to go far beyond what I was currently capable of at the time, so my skills were craving to unleash the floodgates and somehow I was able to pull it off, with a painstaking work time of 48 hours, 27 minutes and roughly 40 seconds. By the time I was nearly finished with this master piece, no scratch that, “MASTER BEAST”, as I’d like to call it lol. Within about a little over 30 sessions of working on it for about an hour to and hour and half, it was no joke of a workout for my wrist, it would go numb to the point where it took all I had in me to brush it off and continue with every single speck of detail with precision that goes all the way down to the millimeter, btw this piece called The Kalachakra Mandala, which the Sanskrit term Kalachakra means “wheel of time”, involved within the Buddhist culture represented as a gift for Mother Earth, but aside from all that, I just wanted to endeavor into what I initially thought was gonna be impossible, I’m not gonna lie, yes working on this was quite beyond insanity for me. Before I started, I taped together 4 regular print size paper of which I folded into squares and so I had an equal length of 16 3/4 inches on each side, within a $53 “22x22” inch frame I bought off of Amazon, and just today I was finally able to display it on my wall. This took 8-9 times longer than I originally would on a casual piece. The LAST PHOTO is what I went off of, not 100% accurate, but close enough. And after making some more casual art in my spare time, I’ve noticed quite the improvement with the steadiness of my free handed straight lines and patience in detail all at the same time. 12 years in the making, I feel like I have found my art peers, such as Michael Angelo, but don’t take my word for it, cause that biggest compliment actually came from a co-worker, disregarding how much I compensate with my skills, that sort of compliment still shocked me. With every last nerve, I poured every ounce of fiber of my being into this. by @tleal21

Finished this a few days ago, but it took me roughly a week to complete. I wanted to make a piece about interstellar chaos because I enjoy a lot of things about space. Let me know what you think!! by @tleal21
