$37 billion is projected to flow into creator advertising. The question is... why?

Simple. That's where the audience is. Consumer behavior changed. How people watch changed. Who they trust changed. And brands are following the attention.

Kurt said it best: "you got to go where the consumer is."

The money isn't moving toward creator-led media by accident. It's moving toward the creators/atheltes and platforms that already have the audience, the relationship, and the trust. Attention moved first. The money followed. 🎯

Today, Tidal League turns 8.

What a journey it has been.

We took some time to reflect on the years that have shaped us into the company we are today. Entrepreneurship isn’t for the faint of heart. Building a business tests your resilience, your conviction, and your ability to keep moving forward when the path is anything but certain.

Reaching eight years isn’t just a milestone—it’s a testament to every lesson learned, every challenge overcome, and every relationship built along the way. While we’re celebrating eight years, in many ways, it feels like we’re just getting started.

We’re incredibly grateful to our team, our athletes, our shareholders, our partners, and our families. Thank you for believing in our vision and helping us build something meaningful.

There’s something fitting about the number 8. Across many cultures, it symbolizes abundance, balance, infinity, and new beginnings.

I sat down with our CEO, Kurt Benson, and asked him a simple question:

“If you could start over today, what would you do differently?”

His answer didn’t surprise me:

“No."

But here’s what that really means...

In media, execution compounds quietly. The infrastructure you don’t see, built behind the scenes, is what determines whether momentum lasts. Most companies enter when the category feels validated or the market is hot. But real talk, the real leverage belongs to the ones who built before it was comfortable.
