We had a time last night! ❤️

Pastor, your birthday was Friday, but there is no expiration date on giving honor where honor is due. Celebrating you is the least we could do after everything you have poured into the people of Seattle for more than four decades.

Yesterday we laughed, ate, danced, reflected, prayed, and celebrated a life of faithful service. Now we move forward with great expectation, ready and willing to be the hands and feet of the living God.

Happy Birthday again, Pastor. We love you, we honor you, and we are grateful to serve alongside you.

Happy Birthday to our Pastor, Rev. Dr. Robert L. Manaway, Sr.! 🎉

Today we celebrate a leader whose impact reaches far beyond the pulpit. As if this birthday wasn’t special enough, this year our city is recognizing his lifelong service by naming a street in his honor!!!

Pastor, thank you for faithfully serving God, His people, and our community. We pray the Lord continues to bless, strengthen, and keep you for many years to come.

Sundays word was a needed reminder:

“self righteousness is a dangerous delusion.”

We can never do enough to earn what Jesus already paid for. Like the tax collector in Luke 18, we come to God in humility, not pride. Our righteousness will never be enough (Isaiah 64:6), but thank God for His grace!

Stand firm in the freedom Christ has already given us. 🙌🏾 (Galatians 5:1–6)
