Today I did something my husband took over a couple summers ago…….I mowed the grass!

I find so much joy in the effort to create the perfect lines in the lawn and to be in the sun with the sound of the motor humming. Talk about being present in the moment! I sure was for about two hours and I really needed it.

It’s funny how sometimes the mundane for most satisfies me so much. Just like washing dishes, I know I’m a weirdo who likes to wash dishes, brings me peace.

Cleaning house can also free my mind and create enough of a physical exertion that my heart rate rises like I’m doing cardio.

It’s being present physically and mentally where you are and it’s glorious.

Sometimes it can be sitting on our deck just enjoying our beautiful view and I’ll take that too.

Apparently, my brain is still out in the potato field! 🥔😂

I uploaded last week’s Beautiful Chaos episode, “When Stress Strikes the Heart,” to YouTube… and completely forgot to release it on the podcast platforms. So that finally went live today!

Then I finished editing “Sweden versus Brazil” and accidentally released THAT episode today, too—instead of Monday. Surprise! You get a double dose of Beautiful Chaos! 🎙️🤣

Harvest routine is really giving my brain cells a workout. Between prepping, cooking, packing, and delivering lunches, apparently knowing what day it is has become optional!

Once I saw how many of you were already tuning in, I decided to leave the episodes up. Maybe my accidental Saturday release is telling me something! 💛

🔔🇺🇸 COME RING THE LIBERTY BELL THIS WEDNESDAY! 🇺🇸🔔

How often do you get the chance to actually ring a piece of Idaho history?

This Wednesday, September 16 from 8:30–10:30 AM in American Falls, Idaho’s Liberty Bell replica will be here—and YOU will have the opportunity to ring it!

Idaho’s bell was cast in 1950 as part of a nationwide U.S. Savings Bonds Independence Drive. It was created to match the dimensions and tone of the original Liberty Bell and traveled throughout Idaho before making its home at our State Capitol.

Now, after being reforged and retuned, this historic bell is traveling Idaho once again—and American Falls gets our turn! 🔔❤️🤍💙

And we’re making a morning of it!

🎤 Paige Anne, the incredible Idaho singer many of you will remember from American Idol, will sing our National Anthem.

🎶 Paige Anne and Judd Erickson will keep the morning going with some fantastic live music—and there may even be a little karaoke! 😄🎤

🇺🇸 We’ll have patriotic displays, music, food and some wonderful photo opportunities, but the best part will be creating your own little piece of history by ringing Idaho’s Liberty Bell!

Bring the kids. Bring the grandkids. Bring a friend. Take a picture. Ring the bell.

🔔 DO YOU KNOW THE STORY OF THE LIBERTY BELL?

Before it became one of the most recognizable symbols of freedom in America, the Liberty Bell was simply known as the State House Bell.

In 1751, a bell was ordered from the Whitechapel Foundry in London for the Pennsylvania State House—the building we now know as Independence Hall.

But here’s something you may not know…

The original bell cracked on its very first test ring! 😳

Philadelphia metalworkers John Pass and John Stow melted it down and recast it. The bell was used to call lawmakers to meetings and gather townspeople to hear important news.

But eventually, this bell would become something MUCH bigger—a symbol of liberty that has inspired generations of Americans.

And soon, a piece of that history is coming to American Falls. 🇺🇸

Idaho’s own Liberty Bell replica will be here September 16 from 8:30–10:30 AM—and you won’t just get to see it.

You’ll get to RING IT. 🔔

Stay tuned…because the story behind the words written on the Liberty Bell may be even more powerful than the crack itself.

Happy birthday to my love Kevin. He’s not on Facebook anymore but y’all know me, I will share!

If you are his friend you have felt his loyalty, caring phone calls, and kindness.

If you call him Dad, you’ve written a report at one stage of your life, felt his unconditional love and have felt fully supported .

If you call him Opa you are so blessed to have him in your corner. He loves you and loves spending time with you. He will be supportive of all you always.

For me, I’m so blessed with his patience cuz let’s face it I’m a handful! 🤣. He’s very supportive of all that I do even though nothing I do over the past years has been for profit. I couldn’t do life without him! ❤️

So while I was in Hailey last weekend for a fabulous wedding we stopped at Hailey Coffee Company. I had the best Chai Tea I’ve ever had and everyone else’s coffee tasted just as wonderful, yes I tasted everyone’s! 😂. They all said they enjoyed their breakfast. The owner Greg, visited our table and said he had great Chicago beef brisket hot dogs on his lunch menu. So a couple of us went back for and had the best dang hot dogs in this world!

Then I watched him make their infamous shaken tea. I asked what all he out in it and realized he was not only a coffee expert but a tea connoisseur. His tea was family farm grown in China and he gave me a free sample! It was the most delicious tea I’ve ever had and I’m a southerner! by @tmramsey591
