We wrote a book! Michael Baines, our founder, has written a memoir 🧡 His journey is full of crazy twists and turns, but it lead him to create our sanctuary and care for our 760+ dogs🐕🐕 How did he end up here? How did we all end up here? And why does everyone who visits fall in love? Read all about it and, of course, meet some life changing dogs along the way 🐾🖋️ We’ve partnered with Witchcraft @heywitchcraft, a social impact publishing firm, to bring this book to life. The best part? The royalties from sales will be donated directly back to TMTRD, so buying the book is another way to support our mission 📚🐶 By getting this book, you’re not just getting a hilarious and touching summer read —you’re making a donation to our dogs. Sign up through the link in our bio to be the first to know when it’s available for purchase 🧡 👉 For inquiries and partnerships, contact maggie@heywitchcraft.com #tmtrd #listofpeopleilikedogs #themanthatrescuesdogs #dogswhoread #bookdog #dogfather #dogtravel #rescuemom #dogsonwheels #dogstories #dogsofthailand #dogsanctuary #rescuedogsofinsta #summerreading2024 #tmtrdbook by @tmtrdorg

Our work reaches far beyond the gates of our sanctuary. Alongside the 840 dogs who call TMTRD home, every day our team heads out into the surrounding communities to feed more than 500 street dogs. These daily feeding routes are about more than filling hungry bellies. They allow us to get to know the dogs, keep an eye on their health, spot anyone who may need medical help, and identify areas for our regular spay and neuter campaigns. Rain or shine, busy day or quiet day, we are there. Not a single day goes by without these dogs being fed. For many of them, seeing our truck pull up is the best part of their day. And seeing them waiting for us is one of the best parts of ours. by @tmtrdorg

Zorro was trying to escape the recent floods when she was hit by a car. A group of kind people found her and brought her back to the gas station where they work. For three days, they fed her, kept her safe, and cared for her until they could reach us. At our clinic, blood tests revealed a blood parasite that has left Zorro anemic and weak. X-rays also showed a fractured hip. Then came more difficult news. Zorro tested positive for distemper, a serious and potentially fatal virus. She has a tough road ahead, but she has a chance because a few people saw an injured dog and chose not to look the other way. A huge thank you to everyone who cared for Zorro until we could get there. by @tmtrdorg

Meet our Wheelchair Mafia. Serious road accidents leave far too many stray dogs injured or paralyzed. At TMTRD, we specialize in giving disabled dogs the care and freedom they deserve. Our 45 disabled dogs receive 24/7 care, physio and hydrotherapy, and each has their own fitted wheelchair. Best of all, they head out together for two long walks every day. by @tmtrdorg

The Man That Rescues Dogs в Таиланде. The Man That Rescues Dogs, Wheelchair Mafia, #TheManThatRescuesDogs #WheelchairMafia #СпасениеСобак #Таиланд2026 #ДобрыеДела taken in Thailand by @tmtrdorg

A throwback to when the @beastphilanthropy team joined us on our daily feeding route! Every day we feed and monitor the health of over 500 dogs living in the streets and rural areas of our community. We spay and neuter as many as we can. We do this every single day. by @tmtrdorg

The Man That Rescues Dogs — именно такое место. 📍 The Man That Rescues Dogs Sanctuary, Si Racha #ThailandTravel #DogRescue #AnimalRescue #ช่วยสุนัข #путешествияпотаиланду Thailand travel, hidden Thailand, places in Thailand, Si Racha, Chon Buri, Pattaya travel, Bangkok day trip, dog rescue, animal rescue, rescue dogs, wheelchair dogs, dog shelter, animal sanctuary, volunteering Thailand, animal charity, emotional story, inspiring animals, travel with kids, family travel Thailand, MrBeast, помощь животным, приют для собак, спасение собак, ช่วยสุนัข, เที่ยวไทย taken in Thailand by @tmtrdorg

R.I.P. Sammuk While it was not unexpected, we are deeply saddened to share that Sammuk has passed away. Sammuk was with us for six months. Because of his chronic kidney disease, we always knew our time with him would likely be limited. So we focused on what we could give him: comfort, kindness, good days, and the feeling of being loved. He was an incredibly sweet and gentle dog and we wish we could have had more time with him, but we’re grateful for every day we did have. It was an honor to care for Sammuk during the final chapter of his life and to make sure he did not have to face it alone. Rest easy and run free Sammuk. You were a very good boy. by @tmtrdorg

They lost their legs, but never lost their joy. 🐾🤍 @tmtrdorg @consciously_ash Today, Ash reminded us that life can take things away from us but it can never take away our choice to keep going. “Life is still beautiful. You just have to keep moving forward.” Sometimes, the ones we come to help are the ones who teach us the most. Thank you, Ash, for supporting TMTRD and sharing this beautiful moment with us. 🙏🏼 #SpiritBright #TMTRD #DogRescue #KeepGoing #ChooseJoy taken in The Man That Rescues Dogs Foundation by @tmtrdorg
