October 10 | Tamil Eelam Pengal Ezhuchi (தமிழீழப் பெண்கள் எழுச்சி)

Today, we honour the courage, strength, and sacrifices of Tamil Eelam women who broke societal barriers, challenged oppression, and stood for freedom and equality.

We remember 2nd Lt. Malathy, whose sacrifice on October 10, 1987, became a symbol of Tamil women’s resistance and resilience.

Their courage, their sacrifices, their legacy. Forever remembered, never forgotten. ❤️💛🕊️ by @tmu.tsa
