Started the year off high on morphine every day, not being able to walk longer than into the next room. Very embarrassingly having to use scooter/wheelchair/a human crutch just to get out or even to wash myself .. half way through the year walking proud as punch into a boxing ring raising £667 for charity.

It’s still very surreal that it is over, I can’t quite put it into words. 8 weeks of hard training and the fight is over.

I want to thank the 43 people who donated to me, the 12 people who brought tickets, the 10 people that turned up and the many many people who wished me luck and supported me throughout. I raised a whopping £667.20 for Mind The Mental Health Charity and The British Thyroid Foundation. Together we can be greater!! 💪🏼

Got a draw which I couldn’t be happier with. Soph is a brilliant, tough fighter and we did exactly what we joined it for but came out with something more than just the achievement.

The friendships I have made outshines anything. It’s been a journey and 3 ladies in particular have became a huge part of my life. I adore each of them 🫶

I must say I have tested my body in ways I didn’t think I would at this age. I have improved my fitness. Attended every session no matter the weather. Gave it my all even when I had no energy for it. Tried my best to eat better and do my own training too. It has been difficult but it paid off in the ring.

I don’t want it to be over. Those who know me will know my journey doesn’t stop there. I will turn the page and continue onto the next life goal and the next charity event. Always love to test myself and give to the world 🫶🫶🫶

To some it is just a day .. to me it is the best day of the year as it was when @alg_boxing was brought into this world!

I wished you could see yourself through my eyes to know how truly special you are. You are honestly one in a million and I can’t be more grateful for you walking into my life and getting to call you mine!

I am SO proud of you and all you achieve every single day. Words will never be enough to express how proud I am of you and how much of a true inspiration you are to most. Never change

It doesn’t matter where we go, I’ll always be at home with you by my side. There’s nothing I love more than doing life and seeing the world with you
