It’s already your birthday in London, so I couldn’t wait to celebrate you here. I hate not being with you today, but I’ll be there soon—and until then, I’m with you in spirit.
Watching you chase your dreams has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I am so proud of you in every way imaginable. Thrilled you have had a great year in London at LAMDA. Happy 21st Birthday to the one who made me a mama. Your birthday has not gone as planned with you being stuck with no power @olemiss & daddy and I in Nashville going on 60+ hours without power, hot water, cellular or Wi-Fi. We had to get in the car and drive to a friend’s home who had power to be able to post this. PLEASE SEND a birthday wish to this sweet ICE BOUND girl. We will find a way to celebrate you! 😭😘❤️🥂 I can’t get over the fact you are 21. You are so poised, kind, beautiful, crazy talented, career minded, creative and have such an incredible,caring heart that ALWAYS gives more than it receives. I am so proud to be your Mama. My heart hurts so much right now. My heart hurts even more for Brooke and Nick and all who loved Hulk. My heart hurts for his beautiful grand babies who will never know their grandfather. I was blessed to work with Hulk and have so many incredible memories I will cherish. It’s a hard day for the wrestling world today. Hearts are hurting all over the world to lose such a beloved icon. Tanner graduated from high school a week ago and I still haven’t recovered. I’ve seen him work so hard and sacrifice so much these past 4 years, but it never sunk in just how much he had accomplished until I heard it recapped in his Salutatorian introduction, the Cum Laude video, and the presentation of the Distinguished Senior Award that he won. It was surreal. To say I’m proud is an understatement. Tanner, you are so disciplined and have been laser focused on your grades and your accomplishments both on the stage and in the classroom. Your perseverance paid off and you were accepted to more of the Top 10 Acting programs in the world at distinguished universities than I could imagine. I wished you had not pushed yourself so hard and had more fun, but you knew what you wanted and you accomplished it. Kudos. Congratulations. You did it! You are even more kind and loving than you are talented and smart. What a winning combination…don’t ever lose that. Your love of God and how your faith plays a role in everything in your life is inspiring. Don’t EVER EVER lose that! God blessed me to be your mama and you bless me every day.
