Client Feature Friday’s: Last weekend I had the opportunity to style Joe Erlinger, President of McDonald’s USA, for an on air appearance on the Today Show!

Joe’s natural tendency is to go with a charcoal suit option and button down. For his appearance I wanted to push him out of his comfort zone a tad and add some color. A textured solid deconstructed sport coat with more of a natural shoulder, lavender polo, navy tech pants and sneakers were the perfect Elevated Casual look for his appearance. I love texture on texture on texture.

A good stylist not only listens to their clients but they study them and their surroundings. We ask ourselves is this piece appropriate for this setting? Will my client look good in this shade of color? There’s so much that goes into styling each look! Super pleased with how it all turned out.

Nail the Game: I had the honor of moderating an amazing panel brought to you by @nike & @hibbettsports Connected Membership experience last Thursday evening as part of the Super Bowl 58 festivities! @nerdlikejazzy, @thegabysantana, @alexastabler and I talked about overcoming obstacles while chasing your dreams! The convo was so good, we truly could have talked for hours. It’s something beautiful about bringing 4 dynamic and driven women together for something like this. So many gems were dropped & I left feeling inspired and pumped for what’s next!

@hibbettbeltway even awarded a local high school $10K! Talk about community driven.

The ladies of @tarawilsonagency absolutely killed this event! So many great details. From the macarons to the step and repeat to the custom nail art y’all absolutely did that!

✨ On Wednesdays, We Werk! ✨

But today, we’re celebrating a different kind of WERK!

Y’all… I BUILT A WEBSITE!!!

MY website. For MY business. The Tamra Nicole Styling Agency!

I’ve been sitting on this domain for over a YEAR. Not because I didn’t want a website, but because I convinced myself I needed a complete rebrand, a team, and a BIG investment to bring my vision to life.

And can we talk about what a full rebrand costs?! WHEW! That wasn’t an investment I was ready to make just yet.

But here’s where things shifted.

I’m forever grateful I invested in AI training. As a small business owner, learning to use AI strategically has been invaluable. It’s helped me work smarter AND realize I’m capable of things I never imagined doing myself.

With a little encouragement from my ChatGPT (aka Clive 😂), I stopped waiting for perfect and decided to START.

For the past month, I’ve been building, editing, troubleshooting, getting frustrated, and figuring it out as I went.

And guess what? IT’S LIVE!!! 🎉

Listen, I already wear about 27 hats as an entrepreneur. Apparently, we can add WEB DESIGNER to the résumé! LOL!

But this is bigger than a website. It’s about giving myself permission to try something hard. About not letting the story I tell myself about what I CAN’T do keep me from what I CAN do.

And about celebrating my wins, even if they seem small to somebody else. Because BABY, this one is BIG to me!

Some days, between entrepreneurship and adulthood, I just want to tell the world, “I’m just a girl!”

But look at me. Tamra Nicole. Just a girl doing BIG things. HARD things. Things that once felt out of reach.

Today, I’m giving myself a little pat on the back. Because I DID THAT! 👏🏾

Fall 2026 Trends, Part 3: The Athletic Aesthetic 🏃🏾‍♀️

Now THIS is a trend I can get behind!

Y’all already know how much I love athleisure, activewear and a good sneaker, but the athletic aesthetic takes sporty dressing beyond the gym.

For Fall 2026, we’re mixing track pants, jerseys, windbreakers, pullovers and other sport-inspired pieces with the rest of our wardrobes to create a complete, intentional LOOK. And the runways are doing exactly that, mixing athletic references with polished, unexpected pieces.

And those jerseys you bought for the World Cup this summer? Keep 👏🏾 wearing 👏🏾 them. Try yours with a blazer, trouser, skirt or another unexpected layer.

Remember: trends don’t always mean BUY MORE. Sometimes it’s about looking at what you already own differently.

Now THIS is a trend I can get behind.

If you’re a client of mine, you already know how much I love a good croc-embossed piece. Leather is already a wardrobe staple, but adding that texture gives it personality, dimension and a little something unexpected.

And this fall, don’t think you have to stop at the handbag. Jackets, pants, skirts, trenches, there are so many ways to bring croc into your wardrobe.

And yes, I WILL wear my brown croc blazer and black pants together.

🎨 Tam’s Tips Tuesday: Fall 2026 Color Trends

I’m begging y’all… PLEASE add some color to your fall wardrobe.

Yes, chocolate brown, camel, tan, cream and gray are beautiful and they’re not going anywhere. But Fall 2026 is also giving us rich reds, royal purples, electric blues, gorgeous greens, fuchsia and turquoise.

And here’s the thing: you don’t need a whole new wardrobe to participate in a trend.

Use those neutrals you already own as your foundation and add ONE great pop of color, a sweater, blouse, handbag, shoe, scarf or jacket.

🤎🩷 Chocolate + fuchsia
💙 Camel + cobalt
🩶❤️ Gray + red
💚 Cream + green
💙 Navy + turquoise
💜 Tan + purple

Your wardrobe doesn’t need more random clothes. It needs more possibilities.

A little Tailoring 101 + a mini Trunk Club reunion. ✂️✨

One of the biggest assets I bring to my clients is my understanding of FIT.

Going through the custom clothing program at Trunk Club and becoming a certified custom clothier completely changed the way I look at clothing. I don’t just see what something looks like on the rack, I’m thinking about proportions, construction, alterations and what we can do to make that garment work better for the person wearing it.

Last night at @mystylelist.co, I got to sharpen those skills with one of the best: Mr. Jose, a master tailor with 30+ years of experience and someone I’ve trusted with my clients (and myself!) for years.

17+ years in this industry and I’m STILL learning, refreshing and sharpening my craft, because ultimately, my clients benefit from everything I learn.

A great wardrobe isn’t always about buying something new. Sometimes, the magic is in the fit. ✨

✨ Work in Action Friday ✨

Flashing back to last month and such a special experience with @imnewheredallas, brought to you by @theconnection_co. 💙

When they asked me to be part of this conversation, saying yes felt especially meaningful.

I’ve lived in Dallas for more than 13 years, but becoming a full-time entrepreneur and continuing to grow as a speaker has required me to experience this city differently. I’m meeting new people, building new relationships, showing up in new spaces and learning even more about the city I’ve called home for over a decade.

So getting to share some of what I’ve learned with women who are making Dallas home was such a full-circle moment.

Because sometimes you don’t have to move somewhere new to have a fresh start.

Sometimes you just have to see where you already are with new eyes. ✨

Stop buying outfits. Start building a wardrobe. 👏🏾

One of the biggest frustrations I hear from clients is that they know how to buy a cute outfit, especially when the mannequin has already done the work, but they don’t know how to build a wardrobe where everything works together.

Before you buy that next piece, ask yourself:

✨ What do I already own that works with this?
✨ Can I style it at least 3 different ways?
✨ Is this filling an actual gap in my wardrobe?

The goal isn’t just to own more clothes. It’s to have more ways to get dressed.

And if you’re staring at a closet full of clothes but still struggling to put outfits together, that’s exactly what I help my clients solve.
