Terror Terrace is the newest “luxury” “highrise” “apartment” in downtown Austin featuring ghosts, goblins, ghouls, blood pool, and in-unit washer dryer.

Join a group of monsters (plus a token human) as they put on the Halloween show of the century to save their complex from being demolished. Featuring original sketch comedy, burlesque, drag, dance, original music, and real blood.

This project is supported in part by an Elevate Grant of Austin Arts, Culture, Music, and Entertainment.

This year’s languages include: English, Spanish, Telugu, French, Mandarin Chinese, Gujarati, Turkish, German, and Serbian.

Come and meet members of the incredible Austin theatre community, and learn more about Walking Shadow Shakespeare Project’s mission to unite classical texts with a contemporary community through innovative and accessible productions, social events, and educational opportunities.

A deranged CEO who’s hellbent on immortality releases a technology that upends the
lives of a hacker whose face sprouts feathers, a professor who lays eggs, and the mute
street artist caught in the middle.

In THE EGG, three social misfits, each carrying bizarre, intimate secrets, must navigate love and
friendship under a rigid techno-surveillance state. There is Mavis, an egg-laying art historian;
Raymond, a feather-faced hacker; and Chuy, a mute street artist. And, backed by her army of
“Dollums,” there is Agnes, whose own fear of death leads to the unleashing of a highly
destructive new technology.

ACL Day 1 weekend 2 is in the books! Had to take it pretty easy because of my old lady bones, but had a beautiful and fun alcohol-free day with one of my besties and founder of @alcoholfreeproject. Bochi and I were actually onstage together about 20 years ago with My Morning Jacket holding pineapples🍍

Not theatre related, but stage related ;)

I had such a fun time getting some photos and getting to know @l.b.deyo and @noah.masterson of @the_zahir_productions for my first printed @thenewsboylocal theatre contribution!

We met up at the Texas State Capitol and, despite a few ridiculous mishaps for each one of us, I had a REALLY fun time with this shoot. Really fun. More photos and a longer more in depth interview will appear in the online mag, so stay tuned!

The Zahir’s @the.egg.play opens on October 29th at the Rosette! Get your tickets early because I’m sure it will sell out like @oversightplay did.

Sort of new “love letter” alert! I saw @oversightplay last month on its closing night.

“OVERSIGHT was both intense and satisfying. My brain felt tampered with, like a very gentle lobotomy. I kept thinking, this is as thrilling as the best part of A Few Good Men! ‘You can’t handle the truth!’ Imagine 1.5 hours of that.”

Have you gotten your FREE ticket to @atxtheatre and @jenpilgrimage collaborative annual theatre costume sale? Or, if you want to be a lil bougie, you can spend $5 for a VIP ticket that will get you in on Friday 10/9 from 6pm-9pm (new since this article) or Saturday 10/10 from 10am-12pm. As of this post, tickets for both are still available!

Many other theatrical costume designers get involved! Make sure to secure your spot today to find “weird and wonderful” items, “racks of custom costumes,” and “vintage treasures and everyday clothing.”

Bonus: the organizers still have room for volunteers and vendors who want to get in on the action!
