I want to thank God first for he knows the plans he has for us long before we do. Im excited to be transferring from University of Montana in the fall to attend California State University Sacramento @sacstatecombatu. I will be able to get my education with a full athletic scholarship as well to pursue my first passion and love MMA. This program it opens up pathways for multi sport martial arts athletes to be able to get an education as well as to train at a high level. Dad my first coach, thank you for everything you’ve taught me. I believe because you believed in me. You always took the time to train me and be involved in my life, not just sports but in all aspects. Mom youve been my day 1 theres not enough words to say on what you mean to me. My grandparents uncles aunties and siblings always being there for me pushing me to do better and wanting to make you proud. Thank you coach @el.matador.hec for this opportunity to attend CAL STATE SACRAMENTO @sacstatecombatu im excited to see this grow across the country and honored to be apart of it!! @urijahfaber thank you for the chance to train under @teamalphamalemma and soak up all the knowledge. @i_i_mmaacademy where it all started, hopefully this will create a pipeline to get more Hawaii kids opportunities. Youve helped me achieve this, if it wasn’t for a good and supportive program as well as hammah training partners and coaches!! I appreciate everyone who has supported me and continue to support me thru out the years. Dad I’m gonna make you proud, you paved the way for us here on Maui and I hope I can live up to you. Not only by what you’ve accomplished but the man you are. @babawailehua from Oahu was the first to get the scholarship and I’ll be the first out of Maui can’t wait to start working and training with you brotha!!
