last week I hosted a party in honor of alison knowles’ seminal performance piece ‘proposition 1: make a salad’ - I made all sorts of things and bought too many bags of spring mix at tj’s and asked everyone to contribute something so we could all make big crazy salads ~ food and art are the glue that hold us together :) I love my friends, rip alison

I started a substack to give myself some kind of outlet to spew my thoughts about art and life and whatever else. I am calling it “one thing with sari”. my first post is live. it’s about james turrell’s “meeting” at moma ps1, getting emo in the days before and after the election, and just generally building up the energy/overcoming the vulnerability needed to write publicly. I’d love if you subscribed, i’ll do this once a week, let me know what you think, link in bio :) by @toasted_almost
