we know a little something about what goes on at the end of a rainbow 🌈

The ultimate good luck sign on our wedding day 🤍 It was perfectly sunny all day… until about an hour before our entirely outdoor wedding ceremony was supposed to start. It started pouring and it didn’t look like it was going to stop. We tried to wait out the rain, but after an hour of looking at the downpour from our hotel window and checking weather reports, we decided to move the ceremony to our reception dance floor. That was the best decision we could have made, because instead of all our guests sitting on benches - they were crowded in all around us. It felt like a massive hug from all of our loved ones. The rain continued on during the ceremony, and at that point we had all accepted that the rest of the day’s plans would be a bit different. We said our vows, and the smallest bits of sun began to poke through the clouds. Before I knew it, Dante and I were having our first kiss as husband and wife and we walked out to the most beautiful double rainbow EVER!! 🌈 It felt like a movie, the whole day did, really. Almost nothing went to plan that day, but everything that did happen was even better.
