I’m part Chihuahua and part Shih Tzu, but I’m full fun! I have gay dads (@kevmetz & @cmt.nyc). I live in New York City. I’m a rescue! #adoptdontshop🐾

Nine years ago today, I took the morning off from work and @cmt.nyc and I drove to New Jersey to meet a little 10-week old puppy named Tex. When we walked in and spotted all 4.5 lbs of him, he instantly stopped playing with the other dogs and ran straight to us. We took it as a sign: we weren’t choosing him, he was choosing us (now nine years later, we’ve learned that he greets EVERYBODY that walks into the room…but alas). Tex became Toby (Tobias Wagg legally) and he changed our lives forever. Toby, your dad’s love you more than words can ever express. ❤️🐾 Happy Gotcha Day by @tobiaswagg
