THE MASTERCLASS 10/10 The @hatricksbytolani carved by Ms. @tolanialli was a two-day experience that proved—without question—that the $2,000 fee was worth far more than the price tag. What Amazon, Ms @tolanialli began as a teaching around photography and storytelling quickly evolved into something much heavier and more demanding. It built stamina around communication, responsibility, and the weight that comes with excellence. The class reframed my thinking completely—that a person can be an organisation. One man carrying vision, structure, execution, and profit. The strength of a thousand, with results to show for it. We moved into conversations around public relations for brands, organisations, and individuals. Just as the idea of becoming excellent in a single lane began to settle, @ifeyinkar disrupted that comfort. He called us out of the loop of being one-brand winners and showed us the importance of sustaining communication and putting on another assignment across multiple endeavours. Financial weight matters. Capacity must translate into longevity, not just applause but for answering to life. Then @tybello spoke—and as always, grace led the room. You know those people you honour from afar, not for showmanship but for substance? She is like the sun—essential, quietly present, shaping everything without noise. Her teaching on understanding how God is framing your life, and how that framing must reflect even in the mundane, was wisdom personified. She said I made teaching easy because I listened with rapt attention and wrote intensely—and truly, who wouldn’t lean in fully when the purpose is clear? The conversation with @chuckkennedydc felt like preparation for the global stage. Take the image valuable for global stage. From positioning my photography to navigating storytelling assignments in the Western world, he gave clarity on structure, expectation, and scale. Hearing him speak about photographing the President of the United States, and now the Secretary of State, grounded my understanding of what world-class storytelling truly looks like. @tolanialli shifted paradigm with this class Cont’d in the comment…… #tobilobadearest #hatricksbytolani by @tobilobadearest_

God doesn’t leave a man, He sends you, equips you, and backs you up. I’ve seen Him not just in the spiritual, but in the everyday details, the rooms, the work, and the process. @officialbenkalu gives me room to express myself, and allows me work outside the box. Thank you sir for the confidence, the freedom and access, it means more than you know. I can’t deny God’s hand on my craft in 2025. I’m locked in for more this year. Work Review 2025! Special S/O to the good people of @thex_projects for the visuals! #tobilobadearest #ds004🇳🇬 taken in Nigeria by @tobilobadearest_

You don’t rush stories like this. What I have learnt over time is to take it one step at a time. Because of the sacredness, you pause and behold it. And most importantly, you understand that it’s too precious not to commit to God. From seeing you on my screen as I edited Upper Room pictures to finally saying hello to you, I’ve come to realise just how kind God has been to me by allowing our paths to cross. And now, with a heart full of gratitude and a future full of hope, I get to call you my fiancée. Ayọka mi ọwọn, My Sunshine, My ANSWERED PRAYER. Of all the beautiful things life could offer me, I am most grateful that I get to do life with you! This is more than a proposal. It is the beginning of a covenant, a lifetime of choosing you, loving you, growing with you, and building something beautiful together with God at the centre of it all. You said YES, and My forever found its home 🥹❤️ 💍 It’s an honour to be #SetAsASeal with you.🥰❤️ Ring: @mollyjewelryus @mollyjewelryus.custom MUA: @glamifiedbyanto Videography: @official_ucfilms Photography: @ftoluwalana X @immortalstudios_ Decor: @9th_balloongasm Planner: @nisotevents #SetAsASeal #proposal #gettingmarried #love taken in Abuja, Nigeria by @tobilobadearest_

DRAWING LIGHT LIKE GOD. 📸✨ I had the privilege of teaching children at The Covenant Nation, Abuja, photography as part of Career Sunday. My focus was simple: Looking and Expanding, teaching using their vocabulary and also stretching the essence. We talked about looking, gazing, appreciating colours, noticing little details and understanding that the camera can only capture what the eyes have first learned to see. Then came the practical sessions, sharing with them my camera, asking questions and making sense of light and composition was beautiful. Someone jokingly said, “With the way you are teaching these children and your height, I won’t be surprised if they start seeing you as one of them.” 😂. On the flip side, while teaching them, I’m beginning to revisit the part of photography that is physics drafted myself, i guess they have done alot of youtube search. 😂 Children have a way of making you rethink what you think you know, I’ll be back in a few more Sundays to continue this conversation with the older ones. To my church @tcn_abjcentral , thank you for trusting me with your children and for creating the platform for knowledge to be shared. It is an honour I do not take for granted. We are learning to see. Then, we draw the light. 📸 Photos by my HOD @dadakolawole and my brother @iamakinlolu_ #tobilobadearest #DrawingLightLikeGod #CareerSunday #TheCovenantNation #tcnabuja taken in Abuja, Nigeria by @tobilobadearest_

All of us with unveiled faces… Four years ago, I was a listener, i still am. Mide, my friend brought me physically, handed me over to Dumebi whilst he relocates outside of Abuja and after that phase, I stayed and i can say i have taken a shape and still need to align. Growth, in this part of the Kingdom, is formed by listening, asking to hear correctly, and then asking for the grace to become a doer of what we have heard. A change of mind that must eventually become action. Then the circle begins again. Come. First, come, how you arrived isn’t a question, as long as you can arrive, you are welcome to come. And if you will do, believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Fifty minutes into the Word, we are listeners, writing, searching and being made. The one speaking is not outside of this process either. The Word is not simply being spoken to them. It is working on and in us. The one speaking, the one writing. The one listening. The one who made a choice to be a doer, we all are becoming. What becomes of the conveyor? What becomes of the doer? One Body. Different portfolios. Different expressions. All by One Spirit. And somewhere down the line of service, the position of the scribbler who was once a tax master is what it is… To write, witness, remember and make others remember. All of us with unveiled faces… Arrive for @tcnyaba Coffee Tuesday tomorrow. Come! #tobilobadearest by @tobilobadearest_

Half of what is said in this meetings, i can’t remember, it’s such a foreign land for my Yoruba head, it gets more interesting because my principal is an Igbo Big deal. For want of words, i joke around and say all that was said in any particular meeting is “nigbati nigbati” (when when). If i can’t give ears to what is being said, i should give eyes to the happenings. Ozu Item 8th 11th ‘26 #tobilobadearest #ds004🇳🇬 taken in ITEM by @tobilobadearest_

Late March on the 25th year and preparation prior the trip to calabar was when the name “Big Ben” surfaced (his name back then in UNICAL). In conversation with one of my boss’s classmates he said in igbo “Ben’s pen would pick a mistake, his pen as well scores an 85% then be rest assured that you’ve got the lecturer’s blessings on a 100%” It’s interesting to see this play of the pen on legislative words, pattern, terms and language, i believe it softens as well on the assignment of “The Speaker” who is chairing and fixes what i believe is “curling” on Subject of Matters of Public Importance that is moved on the floor of the house in the plenary. What looked like a matter that passes on the floor of the house quickly became a long debate because an honorable altered a motion and it didn’t get to the leadership right on time and was still moved as a debate, this will probably be negligence on an aide but then again, it takes Uncle Ben a note to get this highlighted and got the attention of the house. Get an Uncle Ben with a Pen to lead a debate, correct the motion and cause a win for the majority. 8th July 2026 #tobilobadearest #ds004🇳🇬 taken in House of Representatives by @tobilobadearest_

State Police~The Synopsis . What you should know about The State Police Bill. This a 3min plus legislative education piece aimed at letting you know about this bill and its essence, i believe if this bill gets the gavel favour, it’s a win for us all. S/o to every cinematographer out there, i don’t envy you lot, it’s a thing to shoot and edit, it’s another ball game entirely getting a sound that sits well with the visuals, i mean I’m beginning to enjoy moving pictures but it’s a lot on the flip side. My Coach helped me on this and he says I’m getting better at it 😊 #tobilobadearest #ds004🇳🇬 by @tobilobadearest_

State Police, NOW! Imagine with me that each state in Nigeria can now control their police and aside from that, the police in different communities are known by each other, speak same language, fashioned by same culture and sect? You can easily point out the officer who’s gone rouge….. Sequel to the current security challenges i really took interest in this bill, for real i think you should get a grasp on it too. The House of Representatives used it’s legislative tool targeted to address this critical issue; the State Police Bill (HB 617) sponsored by The Deputy Speaker. The bill has been formally presented, communicating its urgency for consideration by the Executive Arm of government, to mitigate this insecurity situation. 289 members sitting to make this vote count. Literally a weighty presence for this call. Now it’s up to the senate and the states with 2/3 of them to make this a living reality. 11th Jun 2026 #tobilobadearest #ds004🇳🇬 taken in House of Representatives by @tobilobadearest_
