You have to carry the fire.
I don’t know how to.
Yes, you do.
Is the fire real? The fire?
Yes it is.
Where is it? I don’t know where it is.
Yes you do. It’s inside you. It always was there. I can see it.

Some of the gear we have been using throughout the process of tracking..
mostly telecaster on this album but there’s also the RGs, and some acoustic and nylon guitars not pictured here

@darkglasselectronics for bass tone, and the @earthquakerdev palisades through the fender combos for the main tones
Amp sims featured are from @dustyaudioplugins and @neuraldsp

Working in a small home studio is both a blessing and a curse. The blessing being ultimate creative control and complete ownership over the entire music making process.

The more familiar I have become with how recording music works in the actual industry, the more I’ve wanted to move toward a DIY philosophy. So many good artists have been pulled down by corporate greed, and the cut throat style of business that comes with that world is incompatible with true artistry.

Embracing the curse means finding all these perfect/imperfect combinations of space utilization. We work in an ever changing space.

With that said drums, bass, guitars, and all instruments are totally wrapped up. Vox are mostly there. Taking my time mixing this because it is special to me. See you soon ;)
