A TRILOGY COMPLETE! “how has the sun treated you?” OUT NOW ON STREAMING! Much love and many thanks to every producer on this album, whose beats helped me focus and stabilize myself throughout some tumultuous times for the better part of a year. The making of this album started in August 2025 and was completed August 2026. As for the two features on this (Gloom and my music soulmate, Thiago) this album wouldn’t be what it is without them. For this trilogy to work I had to look inward and face my troubled self before I could look outward, then I had to look inward once again to appreciate my growth and embrace the sun that used to blind me and scorch me with ferocity. Now I am blessed, so now I must ask you all: how has the sun treated you? #undergroundartist #newalbum #rarefinds #hiphop #undergroundhiphop by @tobitheprodigy

THANK YOU FOR HAVING ME ALL THESE YEARS AND THANK YOU FOR WITNESSING THIS TRILOGY BEING MADE IN REAL TIME. It all started with DARK SUN. Thank you to the producers, the features, the support and everyone involved in the making of not just this album but the other albums that came before it. However, young Tobi isn’t done with the year just yet. Watch out for November:). by @tobitheprodigy

“soul 2 shallow!” • Many years had passed me by when I saw my reflection under that pale blue moonlight. How can you be an artist and not reflect the times? The night was cold and the stars had fizzled out and the pit in my stomach only grew deeper. I have been walking in disgust with the world around me. Repugnance refuses to subside in the face of fascism. These last two years I had a lot of time to think about my life; my upbringing, adolescence, and whatever forks in roads and stones on the cement life offers me later on. In 2015 I saw a CVS burn down on live TV following Freddie Gray’s death. I sat back in confusion seeing my city erupt in anger over brutality that has known no end by the hands of pigs and the powers that be. That confusion ceased over the years. It turned to bitterness and anger and frustration and disgust. I carried this inside me and it influenced the topics I later explored in my music.

This album is the tale of Azrael, a product of the environment he was born into. He is also a reflection of myself, I weaved aspects and events that happened in my past to create Azrael as an alter ego in my music and a character that’s been there from the start. On this album I explore how our environments influence us for better or worse; and in this case the latter casts a dark shadow over the project.

This album might end up being my last. The future of my career is looking bleak and if this one bangs then I shall go out with a big one. This album spent four years on the drawing board. I had to get to this skill level in my artistry to be able to translate this concept well. “Blue in Moonlight: The Tale of Azrael” out on November 13, 2026. by @tobitheprodigy

That #unreleased Prodigy* Now is a good time as any to officially announce a new album. This one is called, “how has the sun treated you?” And it completes The Sun Trilogy I started with DARK SUN in 2023. It has been a journey of unpredictable moments that turned into gems. You never realize you’ve grown til you reflect, which is a theme present on all these albums. I’m happy to announce that this specific album contains beats from only Latino producers, featuring production from @joe_chuchuuu @chchcrz @jerefella1407 @reclusx_ and @cheetoboi9000 . More on the album soon. “how has the sun treated you?” Out this fall :).
