I heard this one today for the first time again in years and it brought back so many memories of singing it around a campfire. As one body in unity. And I think that's exactly what this nation needs right now.

What is Free Will?
Is it the ability to do whatever you are told to by those who command you, to be tossed back and forth upon the relentless waves of this world as it were, or is it the ability to think and consider for oneself the possibilities of ones actions and thoughts, and then decide from there? Is it the ability to believe whatever you are told to, which is the act of being ignorant of everything else in this life, or is it taking the facts for yourself and then believing based on the evidence you have been given.
I have found many problems in this world, all of which will be gloriously fixed by our King Jesus Christ when He returns to wipe away every tear and heal every wound, but one of the chief problems that plague our society for the present time is this: not being able to think for oneself.
This problem started small but quickly grew to something larger, like sin in that aspect. What simply started as taking someone’s word for it when they were lying has grown into everyone believing what they read or hear in every form of media, to the point that the truth itself has become controversial.
What was meant to measure and grow one’s literacy rates has been so quickly dismissed as unimportant and boring, and we now as a society are reaping what we have sowed. And yes, the method by which these skills are taught could use refinement, but the goals themselves remain clear: to give someone the knowledge and skills to better themselves as individuals, in order that they may better society as a whole.
Nowhere has this problem been more on display than the nation we call “The United States of America”, in which we disagree on almost every issue there is. Last week, many disturbing events occurred and so many people cheered over violence and took up arms so quickly to defend positions that have so little importance. Others were so distraught they turned to outside help for comfort and found themselves reading the Bible for the first time and in church on 9/14/25 for the first time too. Many people have “shown their true colors” as it were, they have shown how desperately our society needs information literacy. So what to do? Read for yourself. by @tobycunningham17

Summer 2025- Hanging Rock Christian Camp

From a nervous first day to a sad last day, I have found home. What was a place I only knew as a camper somehow turned into a second home; and my coworkers, a second family (especially since some of them are my family).

There is so much that I learned this summer, from how to clean a bathroom to how to be more like Jesus. And there is so much that I have to be grateful for; so much that it would take forever to list it all.

So to my coworkers, thank you all for making this the best summer I have ever had. I love and appreciate each and every one. You will all have a special place in my heart until eternity. I am so grateful that God brought us together and that we got to help so many people experience Jesus. Each of you now has the chance to do that in your own lives, so go do it!
I'll be praying for every one of you; and when I see you again, what a happy reunion that will be!

I love my job. That's the joke we say here when we're doing something that we don't like to do. But I mean that statement with full seriousness. I love my job.
I love the fact that I get to work with people who LOVE Jesus. I love that I get work at a place where God is so clearly moving- seven baptisms took place today! I love that I get to start working in the career field of ministry that I've been called to immediately after highschool. I love that get to walk with Jesus everyday. And finally, I love that I get to create a place that campers want to stay at and come back to next year, just like people have done for me.
This job is hard, stressful, energy and time consuming. But it's also rewarding, joyful, fulfilling, ans and a home to some people. As far as I'm concerned the pros far out way the cons. I love my job. by @tobycunningham17

The Old Rugged Cross. One of mine and my family's favorite hymns. What a wonderful picture of Jesus and the sacrifice he made for us it paints. I pray this brings you closer to Jesus and I apologize deeply for the mistakes I made playing such a timeless classic. by @tobycunningham17

It is well with my soul
