1 year bud

At Connor’s tangi I promised that I’d keep shaping my life in a way that honours both your spirit and mine.

When I was thinking about what to write today it dawned on me that the last year all though the hardest of my life has been filled with too many blessings to count. I’ve hit more milestones this year than any other and have continued to shape my life in a way that I know you’ll be proud of, because I’m proud of it myself.

I’ve always been capable of more and I know you could see that be because we would talk about it often. But losing you has awoken a part of me that I didn’t know was there.

It’s clear that you have been my blessing this year, and I’ve moved through this new chapter with your wings at my back. Guiding me into a life that’s filled with peace, love and positivity.

I feel your presence everywhere I go, and see you in everything I do. Assuring me that I’m in the right place and doing all the right things.

Thank you for continuing to shine on us. Thank you for having your hand on my shoulder. And you for being my brother.

See you in the stars my boy, until then I’ve got your back earthside.

I love you ❤️ by @tobykennett_
