An absolute honour to present at @the_pfa Awards.

Before Track and Field, before Bobsleigh, before Gladiators, there was football. The passion meant I spent every waking moment either playing the game or dreaming about playing it.

From those early days to working with Manchester City’s academy, developing their young players, the game still gives me some special moments. Tuesday night was one of them. taken in Opera House Theatre Manchester by @tobyolubi

✅ Nine hours notice. ✅ One phone call. ✅ Multiple reactions. ✅ One answer. ✅ I said yes 🤩💍 😏

Celebrity SAS Who Dares Wins turned out to be one of the hardest things I have ever done… and somehow, one of the best.

Ten times tougher than what you see on TV; No sleep, no mercy, zero comfort, endless shouting, and a masterclass in discovering layers I didn’t know I had

The goal was simple: show up, give everything I had, and hope that my efforts reached beyond just myself.

I also could not have asked for a better group of people to suffer through it with 😎 (so proud of you all!!)

Celebrity SAS recruits taking on the DS and the North African sun ☀️🔥. Coming to a screen near you in January 2026. Not to be missed!

PS You might spot a few familiar Australian faces. Could this be the new Ashes? 🤔😏🇦🇺🇬🇧

Who else would sign up?

AD The most important part of training is what you do after training. That includes how you rest.

Everyone obsesses over the session, the reps, the miles, the effort. But I’ve learned over years of pushing my body to the limit... you don’t grow in the gym. You grow in the recovery.

The training breaks you down. The rest is what builds you back up, stronger.

What I mean by rest is, supporting your muscles as they get back to normal, allowing your nervous system to wind back down after you’ve asked everything of it. That’s where magnesium comes in for me.

Solgar Magnesium Glycinate is one I keep in my routine. It supports normal muscle function and helps reduce tiredness and fatigue, so it’s my go to for winding down at night.

So train hard. But respect the other half of the equation. Recover with intention.

Shop now on Amazon.

Magnesium contributes to normal psychological & muscle function and a reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Food supplements should not be used instead of a varied balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. @solgarukireland #SolgarUKI by @tobyolubi

Another trip around the sun ✨

This birthday marks a year of gratitude.
A year of love.
A year of experiences, lessons, laughter, challenges, and moments that have shaped me in ways I’m still discovering.

A year that has also reminded me just how precious life is, how quickly things can change, and how important it is to cherish the moments we have with the people we love.

I’m grateful for the love that surrounds me, and equally grateful for the resilience and fortitude that remind me to keep moving forward and to always fight for what matters.

With every year that passes, my world grows a little bigger, more experiences, more stories, more people, more memories, and more pieces of the puzzle falling into place.

Forever grateful.

Here’s to another chapter, and a whole lot more living ❤️ by @tobyolubi

The single act of a son physically burying his own father is one of the hardest things a man can go through.

What may seem like an inevitable occurrence doesn’t come without unexpected pain. The closing of a chapter. The passing of the torch… The weight.

This moment in the picture was all of that.

Physically lowering my dad’s body into the ground was a feeling that can never equate to anything else.

The rain captured the weight of the occasion, and paused as it began.

The juxtaposition of it all, the extremes of life….

The honour
The pain
The togetherness
The loneliness
The unsettling finality of it

I share this for anyone who has been through this moment, or is going through it now, and cannot find the words…. I see you.

Cherish those you have, whilst you have them. by @tobyolubi

For the past 3 years I’ve worked with young footballers, so to present the Women’s Young Player of the Year award at @the_pfa was a fitting honour.

The game gave me my start, long before track and field, bobsleigh or Gladiators, and to hand a young player their moment on that stage was a moment to cherish.

Big shout to my co presenter @daniellecarter . What a night to be part of 💫💫 by @tobyolubi

“To me, humanity means always meeting people with kindness and compassion. You never know what’s going on in someone’s life and what they are battling; showing that you care costs nothing but can mean everything. I love the T-shirt by Charlie Mackesy, I’m proud to wear it and to support the British Red Cross. Everyone should be here for humanity.”

“Humanity is the spirit of compassion, love and selflessness of caring for everyone. The Red Cross does just this. An organisation at the heart of humanity with the spirit of kindness and compassion above all else.”

- Ben Fogle
@benfogle

“Humanity means kindness and respect to all.”

- Amanda Redman

“Humanity means choosing to lead with kindness, especially when the world feels divided. It is seeing the person before the circumstance, showing up for one another, and remembering that none of us should have to face life’s hardest moments alone. I’m wearing this T-shirt because small acts of kindness, connection and courage can bring people together — and together, we can make a real difference.”

HIGH TIDE 🌊

One of the most thoughtful pieces I’ve been part of with an extraordinary cast.

Drawn from Igbo Landing, 1803.

A group of Igbo captives took control of their ship off the Georgia coast, grounded it, and walked into the water rather than be enslaved.

“Cause death was better than bondage.”

Thought provoking and beautifully written.

The best of times with some great people. by @tobyolubi

Love is a coin

One side happiness, one side pain.

When you hand it to someone, you give them the power to deliver either.

Some people will make you want to take that coin back. That is perfectly fine.

But before you do… Really think about it.

Because not every coin that costs you something is one you should stop spending by @tobyolubi

My Father’s death.

Life isn’t simple. We react to each other’s choices and sometimes the hardest choice is asking yourself whether you could have more moments with someone than you’re currently allowing.

There’s no right or wrong answer, only your answer. But it’s an answer that carries weight, and it deserves proper thought.

Banking moments is the most important thing there is. And the fact that there won’t be any more of them doesn’t take anything away from the ones that already happened.

That’s where I’ve landed with my father. I chose to look at him through the lens of the child who adored him. With love and gratitude.

Understanding my own imperfections as much as his, and promising to keep reassessing and to keep trying to be better.

I land on love.
