POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

328 days since surgery
378 days since I last started a game of football

It’s been a long, tough road back. Harder than I could ever of imagined. There were days when I felt like giving up, through the pain, the setbacks , the doubt of not knowing when I would play a game of football again.

To be able to put my boots on again and be back out there is something I’ll never take for granted again. Would not have been able to get to where I am now without the people I had around me, pushing me and supporting me through the tough days when I was at my lowest.

From learning to walk again, and the countless days of rehab, to get to where I am now is something I’ll forever be proud of. I’ve definitely still got a lot of work to do but this is a milestone I’ve waited a long time for.

Excited to keep building from here😄
