That’s a wrap on this year’s Halloween on the High Seas cruise aboard the gorgeous Disney Destiny! Personally I’m a huge fan of the Wish class ships in Disney’s fleet and the Destiny reminded me why! Incredibly themed lounges and bars, beautiful Broadway-style shows (Hercules had me crying ⚡️), and that Disney difference service from the incredible crew members who work so hard to make sure each guest’s vacation is top-notch.

Don’t Google “best restaurants at Disney Springs.” Just listen to me. ✨

I tell my clients all the time that if you plan it right, Disney Springs can be one of the BEST options for a night of great food, a little retail therapy, good drinks and an atmosphere that feels like you actually went somewhere for the evening.

Some of the world’s most renowned chefs have brought their menus to Disney Springs, and it would be a shame to spend your entire Disney vacation eating fries on a trash can at the parks and never experience them. Don’t get me wrong though, I love a good quick-service on a trash can break. There’s a time and place for everything! 🤣

Forget the flashy Downtown Disney fanfare of the past. These days, Disney Springs is all about great food, good drinks, beautiful atmosphere and a little shopping when you’re done eating.

So I put together my personal picks for the best spots for families, date night, quick bites and a few places I’d personally skip.

There are a lot of choices at Disney Springs and you do not need to spend your vacation figuring them all out yourself. That’s what I’m for. ✨

Save this for your next Disney trip, and send it to the person in your group who is always asking, “Where should we eat?”

“But I read it’s not a busy time of year!”

Sorry to break it to you, but there are very few times of year when Disney crowds really slow down. And here’s my hot take: if you want to get on the rides you want, you need to budget for Lightning Lane.

If you’re already making the investment to visit Walt Disney World or Disneyland, I wouldn’t skip Lightning Lane just to save a little money. There are other areas of your vacation where you can cut back, but spending a majority of your day in line for a small handful of rides isn’t how I want my family spending our vacation.

It doesn’t have to be every day! I’ll help you figure out which park days make the most sense for Lightning Lane, then sprinkle in a few great dining reservations and you’ve got a much more enjoyable way to spend your Disney days. ✨
