Some songs travel further than we ever imagined.

“Guarapiranga” was featured on the soundtrack of Silver Linings Playbook, David O. Russell’s 2012 film.

It’s always special to discover that a song born in a specific place and at a particular moment in your journey can find its way into stories — and lives — far beyond where it began.

“Dona Diva” OUT NOW!

///

Toco & S-Tone Inc. reunite on DONA DIVA, a groove-driven single inspired by the golden era of Brazilian funk and soul. Blending late-’70s vibes with modern production, the track pairs Tirone’s infectious bass and guitar with Toco’s smooth vocals, featuring Gianluca Petrella on trombone and Priscila Ribas on backing vocals. A refined, dynamic cut with a timeless feel!
The single anticipates a 7-inch vinyl release arriving at the end of June.

Out today: “A LENDA DO ABAETÉ”

•

Following the digital release of the single “Meu Canto” in early February 2026, Gerardo Frisina and vocalist Luzia Dvorek return to explore Brazilian musical heritage through a new and deeply evocative interpretation of the classic “A Lenda do Abaeté”, originally composed by Dorival Caymmi. Gerardo Frisina weaves a refined and enveloping rhythmic texture, capable of evoking deep and timeless sonic landscapes. Within this framework, the intense and vibrant voice of Luzia Dvorek carries the narrative of the ancient legend of the Abaeté lagoon with a natural balance between expressive strength and emotional subtlety. The release of this 45 rpm record brings to completion a special project entirely devoted to Bahia — the symbolic and cultural heartbeat of Brazil.
