Time leaves marks on everything worth keeping.

44 years apart. Same soul.
The 5513 was built when simplicity was the philosophy no date, no frills, just function distilled to its purest form. The 124060 arrived in 2020 carrying that exact same conviction into a new era.
Rolex never explained themselves. They just kept making the same watch better.

I’ve always been more of an aluminum insert fan, but I have to admit this is one of the coolest things about ceramic bezels: the way they shift with the light.

In this light, it turns grey and it gives the whole watch a completely different character.

That subtle change is exactly what makes it so interesting on the wrist.

Still very happy with this one.

Turns out the right watch is not always the biggest, rarest, or most complicated… sometimes it is just the one that makes you look at your wrist way too often for absolutely no reason.

NWA 🚨🚨As a vintage lover, I always liked the idea of having a modern Submariner alongside a vintage one.

The 11-series never really did it for me, but the 12-series just feels right — cleaner, better balanced, and closer to the original proportions.

My Explorer II had to make way. A true love-hate relationship: sometimes perfect, sometimes just a bit too big.

But this 124060… pure enjoyment. The finishing, the presence — absolutely stunning.
