I am deeply honored and humbled to have been selected as the next president of the Arkansas State University System.

Karen and I are incredibly grateful for the relationships we have built in Jonesboro and for the opportunity to serve alongside the students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors and community partners who make Arkansas State University such a special place. A-State has meant so much to our family, and my commitment to this university remains unwavering.

As I step into this new role on July 1, I am excited for the future of the ASU System and the opportunity to continue supporting A-State, Henderson State University, ASU-Beebe, ASU-Newport, ASU-Mountain Home, ASU Mid-South, ASU Three Rivers and A-State Campus Queretaro.

The future is bright, and I look forward to helping build on the momentum happening across our system in the years ahead. by @todd.educator

Graduate School, Arkansas State University is excited to announce a new course taught by the A-State Chancellor, Dr. Todd Shields and Executive in Residence, Ms. Heather R. Nelson.

Entrepreneurship and Leadership (MGMT 6093 / CRN 65850). Graduate level, 3-credit hours course.

Why take this course:
• Gain leadership skills from professionals across the state and the industries that set you apart
