🍋 My son loved this easy lemonade sensory bin! We made it with water, a couple drops of yellow food coloring, cornstarch, sponge pieces, ice cubes, a play lemon, and a citrus squeezer from Dollar Tree.Squeezing, scooping, pouring, and exploring different textures gave him so many opportunities to strengthen fine motor skills, build hand strength, and practice sensory exploration, all through play. Three simple ways we practiced letter H this week! 💙1️⃣ Spray & wipe the Hs on our glass door2️⃣ Hammer the uppercase and lowercase Hs on butcher paper3️⃣ Feed the hippo only the letter HsThe spray-and-wipe activity was definitely the biggest hit! The hammering and feeding game were a little more challenging because my toddler had to slow down and look carefully to find only the Hs mixed in with other letters. Inspired by A House for Hermit Crab, we made these colorful hermit crab crafts! 🦀✨My son loved decorating the shells with feathers, pom-poms, and sequins, but when it came time for the handprint, he wasn’t interested. So we rolled with it and used my handprint instead!
