It’s difficult to know where to start with how much Dave meant to us all. He was above all a dear friend who, along with Jen, created an extraordinary business and community that has brought us an enormous amount of joy and inspiration over the years.His curious spirit, his authenticity and humility, his endless generosity and his ability to dream and execute were all gifts we will forever treasure.While we’re devastated by this loss, we will focus on the gift of sharing time in Dave’s orbit and be comforted by this beautiful family of colleagues and friends he created.Thank you, Dave — for the fun, the inspiration and the love.We’ll miss you forever.Todd & Amy by @toddnickey

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us last Thursday for our Bingo Night in support of @PasadenaHumane! It was a memorable evening of community, compassion, and generosity — all made possible by our incredible attendees and, of course, our gracious host and friend @MsSarahCatherinePaulson. Your presence and kindness made all the difference.⁠⁠We’re deeply grateful to @JonAndVinnysDelivery, @TylerWinery, @JoansOnThird, and @NYCakePops for keeping food and drink flowing through the evening, and to @Molina_the_Explorer for his beautiful flamenco soundtrack. ⁠⁠Thanks to your support, we were able to raise significant funds to aid the Pasadena Humane Society’s critical rescue efforts. And, in perhaps the most joyful moment of the night, one very lucky guest, our dear friend @CaseyHillStudio, went home with more than just a winning card — she adopted one of our special guests, a pup now aptly named Bingo!We can’t wait to do it again. ⁠CELEBRATING ONE YEAR IN NYC! | "What’s nice is that, just like HOUSEHOLD in LA, our space in New York has quickly become a neighborhood store. We have regulars now. People come in every Saturday, they bring their dogs. People come for provisions, candles, a hostess gift, something for a dinner party. We’re part of the community. It’s not just a design shop for the trade — it’s a respite. And that feels especially important in the kind of crazy world we’re in right now. Thank you to all at @GardenAndGun for shining a light on our Leiper’s Fork, Tennessee project, led by @ToddNickey for beloved longtime clients!⁠⁠"[The] narrative of traditional design balanced by dynamic color continues throughout the house—in the living room’s gold-brick fireplace, for instance, and a guest room’s hot pink four-poster bed—with one notable exception. 'The homeowners wanted their primary suite to be calm,' Nickey says. 'It’s the only space that’s truly neutral.
