We took the kids to Create a Splash @createasplashcc and it was hands-down one of the most fun and de-stressing indoor activities we’ve ever done together!

First, you get fully suited up in ponchos, coveralls, goggles, and shoe covers so your clothes stay safe. We started off painting our canvases with glow-in-the-dark, non-toxic, washable paint… but as soon as we got the green light, total paint war broke out! 💥

We were running around painting each other, the walls, and even the rug! They even play a 45-minute custom playlist while you splash. It was absolute, glorious chaos!

Thousands of glowing, intricately carved pumpkins lighting up the night! 🎃✨ The kids were completely spellbound seeing everything from Finding Nemo and Ninja Turtles to galaxies and tigers. You definitely need to add the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular at the Roger Williams Zoo to your must-do New England fall bucket list! An incredible family tradition, 8 years and counting. 🍂✨ @rwpzoo

Dinner with a view, but make it unforgettable 🍸✨ Celebrating my daughter’s birthday at Duomo 51 in Midtown NYC, and every single detail was perfect!

Tucked right in Midtown with views overlooking St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the atmosphere here is so warm and dreamy. We started with the Pink Pony Club and an Old Fashioned on the terrace, then dove into burrata and ravioli. The spicy rigatoni alla vodka and chicken parm were incredible, and the kids were obsessed with their spaghetti, meatballs, and fries 🍝

Finished the night with birthday gelato and cheesecake for the sweetest ending. The service and views truly made it top tier 🇮🇹 skyline views, amazing food, and family, nothing better!

Looking for a low-key, family-friendly fall day in CT? 🍂 We loved visiting Rose Orchards in North Branford!
The pumpkin patch is sweet and manageable, plus there’s a fun hay maze perfect for little ones. We fed the animals (loved seeing the bunny and birds! 🐰), and you cannot skip the swirl soft serve with sprinkles or the brownie sundae. 🍦
They have apple picking now, and their hayrides are opening soon! It’s truly the cutest low-key fall spot. 🌾✨

If you’re building your CT fall bucket list, add Glow Harvest at @ctconventions right to the top! 🎃✨ It was the sweetest weekend activity for Jade and Knox—and honestly a lifesaver for keeping the kids entertained indoors!

If you are looking for a fun, unique way to destress before the back-to-school rush, you have to check out The Slime Lab Co. in Oxford @theslimelabco We went to check out their new space, and it is a full sensory dream come true 🤩 You can stretch, squeeze and make bubbles with various slime types. They have a “Slime Lagoon” where the kids can literally take their shoes off and walk right on top of a pool of slime! 👣 After exploring, they got to act like real scientists. The DIY slime bar lets them fully customize a jar to take home. As a URI alum, Narragansett holds such a special place in my heart, but I can’t believe I’m just discovering this spot! We brought the family for the ultimate Sunday funday! 💙🩵

@lomonacosbranford has been serving up affordable, delicious Italian for 40 years, and after our family dinner there, it’s easy to see why it’s still a local favorite 🍝🍷🍕

We live five minutes away, so this is one of our regular spots — dining in as a family or grabbing takeout on a busy night. This time we sat down and made a whole meal of it, starting with cocktails and a full wine list for the grown-ups. I got the salmon and it was amazing. The kids stuck with their favorite, spaghetti and meatballs and we shared salad, calamari, and eggplant to start — everything was great and steaming hot!

Affordable, consistent, and family-friendly — this place is a shoreline staple for a reason. And when we’re not sitting down, that take-out entrance gets just as much use from us!
