3 day work trip to Washington DC. Managed sightseeing run, rode the #wmata metro subway (very nice!), had too much coffee, saws some big valves, dinner party at the @smithsonian, meals with clients and coworkers, and had more coffee. DC was impressive and clean! But many of the sights were off limits due to 250th Anniversary preparations on going. Currently at ATL airport and watching planes. taken in Washington, DC by @toddwarrix

48 hr trip to eastern Kentucky to visit my remaining family. Explored old backroads of Pike and Floyd County and Pikeville College (where my dad went for a year). Sat, told and listened to old family stories I never had heard before. Looked at old photos in my grandparents house. Visited my great grandfather’s grave - he died before my grandma was born so a visit on Father’s Day felt appropriate. Managed a Skyline Chili stop and some amazing coffee @manchestercoffeeco in Lexington too.

Time for the annual @aidthesilent 5k! What a great and well run charity! Check them out!

Always fun to see friends!

It was a bit overcast but humid! Certainly not my best 5k but life has keep me hopping lately. Still. Grateful to be able to move and do these types of activities.

Did a thing… Generally unprepared. 😑16-ish miles. 2k ft vert. Hot 🥵 and humid. 😵‍💫 Walked a lot. Lots of slick rocks. No blood 🩸. Yes - shower Coke and Pringles are a thing. Do not doubt me. 🤌 😂😂😂

Played a bit of “tourist” in San Antonio this week with the annual #TexasWater conference in town. 8,000+ water professionals were here! Always fun to run the charity 5k but it was HOT 🥵. Too hot for April! The convention floor is always a great place to see our clients, peers, friends and coworkers. Thanks to @jacobsconnects for being top-tier sponsor of this event. Also I was was able to check out the new @zachryconstruction hotel @themonarchsa for dinner too. #jacobsconnects #txwater by @toddwarrix

3 day work trip to downtown Denver! Stayed in an awesome historic renovated hotel. Explored the local rivers, creeks, neighborhoods and bridges as well. Denver is a great city! The Washington Park area is my vibe just not my price point 🙃 Also had to examined the quad-barrel HDPE bypass pumping system 🤓 along the river 😉 Went to Estes Park today and explored. Apparently it was Bigfoot Day festival. 🤷‍♂️ Always enjoy a trip up Big Thompson Canyon! taken in Confluence Park by @toddwarrix
