🎉🎉🎉 its official! I am a vendor at the next @knit.fest in Zurich (Switzerland) taking place on 7-8 of November 2026. I am looking forward to it both because its going to be my first Swiss event and because I will be staying at my best friend’s house. I am this lucky hihi🤭 come visit me! There is no hall plan yet, so I will keep you posted😘 by @todobunto

Added these buttons to the shop and reminding you that a friend of mine is flying to northern part of Spain on Tuesday, so I can ship all European orders with her. A little bit of bigger buttons (27-28mm) went online, since I almost had none of these in the shop. Started with my favorite color, but will be updating all color groups in the next weeks😘 by @todobunto

Coat for the buttons... I mean cardi for the buttons.
I bought these beautiful.artisan buttons from @todobunto last year at BarcelonaKnits. I immediately was sure I will dye yarns to this shade. I chose my base Brown Suri air which is a blown yarn, brown suri fiber is blown i to the cotton chain core. I dyed the cotton core to have this foggy frozen blue-ish shade and I really love it! Now I am looking for the perfect cardi pattern. If you can suggest any, please leave a comment with name of pattern and designer, thank you! 🥰🫶

‼️‼️‼️ Important information for European customers below.
… Where do I begin? For the first time in 5 years I decided to take a real break and left my shop for 3 weeks with my mom shipping the buttons and now that I am back, seems like ages have passed and the world as I know it will never be the same😁 2 important (or very important news coming up). To begin with - the problems we had at customs in July turned out to only affect packages to Germany, no other countries. And its not only me but lots of senders from Canary Islands. So while there is no solution from Correos (they are still checking), I am only shipping to Germany from continental Spain or from Germany itself when me or my family is flying. So the next shipping date will be on 17.08. After this on 8-9.09 as latest, but may be also in between. Good news it will be after customs, so hopefully with quick delivery.
Second and a bit of a shocking news is that starting 12.08 I will be closing shipping to most of the European countries because of the new packaging regulation. It obliges you to have a legal representative in each country you are shipping to in order to manage the recycling license. To give you an idea, I produce about 10 kg of paper waste per year with my cards and up to this year was paying about 15 Euro in Germany and starting this year also in Spain. Now the representative will cost about 250-300 Euro per country plus the license itself and in some countries there is a minimum license fee of 50-80. So we are talking about 6500 Euro yearly if I would want an opportunity to sell to customers from complete European Union. ( again - 10kg Paper🙄🙈🙄🙈🙄)
That being said I will (unwillingly) pay the fee for Germany, will also have a license in Spain as I dont need a representative here and can pay it myself. Probably Italy will stay, because they dont ask for a representative if you are from EU up until now. And then also Switzerland and UK as they dont require anything in my scale. You can also order from Austria via special service from Austrian Post. And thats about it. I am thinking about French licensing to test, but probably starting 2027. Rest in comments: by @todobunto
