More ways to color-code your tasks are here! 🎨

You asked, we heard you: In the calendar view, you can now color-code tasks to your heart's content in three different ways:

By Labels 🆕
By Project 🆕
By Priority level (not new, but deserves a shout)

Combine this with time blocking and *chef's kiss,* you've got a calendar that tells you what's coming up at a glance before you ever click on a task.

(Plus… it's just fun.)

Kinda chic to be selected for @purposejobs’ “The Best Companies for Work-Life Balance” 2026. 😊

For us, work-life balance is way more than just a perk or “extra thing.” Todoist and the work our team does is built on the idea that we fit into our team’s lives: not the other way around.

At our core, being egalitarian, async, flexible, all that good stuff are part of our whole thing. And you know what? It helps our already high-performing team (big h/t there 🎩) deliver some pretty incredible work. 😎

But we get it, that probablyyyy sounds like corporate speak. So let’s show you what it looks like:

→ We have a 40-hour work week, but when those hours happen is up to you.
→ No one is expected to be reachable outside their own working hours.
→ 40 days of paid vacation and holidays a year, plus 12 Health Days.

In: Creating templates so your next project doesn’t start with hours of setup. 👌

Two ways to do this:

1️⃣ Create your own templates in Todoist:

→ open the Project you want to reuse

→ click the “...” three dots icon

→ hit “Save as template”

2️⃣ Starting from scratch? Use our library of ready-made templates! Find them by:

→ go to the “+” Add icon next to My Projects in the sidebar

→ click “Browse templates”
