BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! The FDA has banned Red 3 in foods, dietary supplements, and ingested drugs nationwide, with the change set to go into effect in 2027-28! 🎉 This victory is thanks to organizations like @cspi_nutritionaction and @ewgverified , influential voices like @just.ingredients and @thefoodbabe , and thousands of passionate parents writing to their state representatives. Lisa Lefferts, featured in @todyeforthedocumentary , was the lead author of the CSPI petition that made this possible! God’s timing couldn’t be better: the press is buzzing, our documentary has just released, and millions of parents are demanding change. Let’s keep the momentum going—keep sharing, talking, and writing!

🚨Multiple food industry lobbyists showed up to oppose this bill in TN!

Yesterday, our very own @todyeforthedocumentary Mom Whitney, testified about how removing synthetic dyes changed our son’s life.

When the facts came out, the room got quiet.

Sometimes the most powerful voice in the room isn’t a lobbyist.

🚨 M&M’s is launching a dye-free version in 2026, and that’s a big deal.

One of the world’s largest candy brands is investing in synthetic dye-free candy, showing just how much consumer demand and public pressure are changing the industry.

But let’s be clear: Mars says it will continue selling traditional M&M’s with synthetic dyes alongside the new dye-free version.

So yes, this is progress. But it’s not the full reformulation many of us have been promised or have been pushing for.

We made dye-free double doozies for Brandon’s birthday. 🎉

As the co-director of @todyeforthedocumentary , he’s spent the last few years helping tell the story of synthetic dyes, so a dye-free birthday treat felt especially fitting. 🌲🍪

Of course, we rolled them in @gosupernatural ’s Into the Woods sprinkles with little pine trees because Brandon never misses a chance to get outside.

Cereal at Target is officially synthetic dye-free!

Back in February, Target told cereal companies they had until the end of May to remove synthetic dyes if they wanted shelf space.

Today we checked.

Every cereal in this aisle? Synthetic dye-free!

Turns out companies don’t need years to reformulate…. 🤔

Enter: The Baked Rainbow Softie Donut✨🍩

Made for mini-bakers, using feel-good staples (like small batch flour by @unifiedmills and maple syrup). With an adult-assist on the oven and cooling steps, they are ready in ten.
