2024 has been a year of significant change!

As some of you may already know, Julie accepted an incredible job opportunity in Utah. In December, we packed up 17 years of memories and bid farewell to our beloved San Francisco (we’ll be back one day). Our new adventure in SLC, Utah, has brought us closer to family and reconnected us with old friends.

My time with the Bacardi la Gran Familia came to an end in April after six amazing years. Working alongside such talented and incredible individuals has shaped me into a better person, and I am grateful for the memories and friendships made along the way. I love you all so much!

Amidst our growth, we also experienced some devastating loss. in March Porkbun fell ill rapidly, and we had to say goodbye. In 2021, our other dog, Falafel, was given three months to live after a stroke and heart failure. She held on for three years but, after losing Porkbun, Falafel’s interest faded, and on April 14th she peacefully passed in her sleep . Thank you for all the love you showed our furry companions. If you have photos or memories of Porkbun and Falafel, we would love to hear and see them. We love and miss you, Porkbun and Falafel.

Astrid turned 1! Our little baby girl celebrated her first birthday, and she is the best thing that has ever happened to us! Who needs sleep anyway?

We apologize for going radio silent. We plan to return to the Bay Area in the next month for a farewell/gone away party. Despite our excitement for the new adventure, we miss our friends in the Bay Area dearly and hope to see you then! by @tofukilbot

In October, Julie and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary. We will forever be so grateful to all our friends who helped us make our wild wedding possible. In the past 8 years we’ve had so many brilliant adventures and as some of you already know change is in the wind. We look forward to this new chapter in our lives and more adventures to come. by @tofukilbot
