i got the opportunity to try @lasavancouver — the first fully vegan filipino restaurant in vancouver!the kare-kare is so rich & comforting, the lumpia is crisp & meaty, and the tofu sisig.. one word: addictive. oh, and that flan? i’m not generally a big desserts girl, but wowww, it’s so silky and sweet — perfect end to the meal. keep an eye on their instagram, cause they also have bi-weekly features! tucked away on a hill in the 5 de diciembre neighborhood, you can find the unassuming @taqueria_vegana_pv aside from tacos they also have burgers, pizzas and snacks — and the majority of their proteins are house-made! 🔥whilst obviously all the tacos were amazing, one night we got their gremu burger for takeout, and while it might not look like your traditional burger, trust that it was delicious, too. “this is the best vegan burger i’ve ever had” - omnivore boyfriend reviewp.s this is a mish mash of clips from multiple visits since we were lucky enough to be staying a couple blocks awayp.p.s i also recently learned that @happycow has named them one of the best vegan restaurants in the world for 2025!!! 🥳🌱p.p.p.s i regret not buying their merch #mexicovegano #happycow #vegantaco #puertovallartafood #veganfoodshare by @tofurae
