Earlier this year, I won first place in a division of the Tawag ng Tanghalan competition of South Florida. And tomorrow, I will be competing again in North Miami. Maraming Salamat po to my ancestors for instilling me with everything I have and will remember. I offer this to you and our kapatid.

My beautiful people.
My community of those who look like me and share the same ancestors who fought for our country. I am so deeply lead to be among you all. I am timid to speak, as I am new to accepting myself as “worthy” enough to be Filipinx. I am sure that our ancestors are looking at us with tears in their eyes. To see that their children are fighting against the corruption in this world. They cry out through their spirit that fuels our call to action. We are defending their honor. We are defending our land. Our beautiful people. With tears in my eyes, I look out to see such familiar faces I’ve never had the privilege of seeing growing up. I see features of mine among others that I have come to learn to love. I see my reflection in their eyes. I see the fire within myself, ready to combust at any moment for my people. My beautiful people. I wish to see our efforts and love for our community make our ancestors proud. For doing right. To protect and care for our family and our children. For the Aries goddess and lover of the moon, moonstone and white sapphire to adorn her faux rook✨

I was so happy to curate my friend @moodringnails ear! She had a great existing set up that showed her love for astrology, but wanted to complete it. She was very open to trying new things and allowing both our creative freedoms to come together, which is my favorite! So, we decided to go to the moon🌙 @larsmakes made this new addition possible and I can’t stop staring at her ear! They also added a yellow gold star from Body Gems in the lower helix and a lil yellow gold tri prong cz from LeRoi in the lobe.

This was my favorite project of the year among so many other beautiful and fun stylings I’ve had the pleasure to do. I couldn’t have done it without our amazing clients that have such impeccable taste and your trust in me to help make your dreams come true. I am so grateful for you all and I can’t wait to see you again for your next project✨✨✨

My first curation and an amazing start to the month 🌙✨

This client came in with three existing lobe piercings and wanted to keep an all yellow gold set up. Here’s what we came up with! @heatherandnightshade added a tragus, daith, and two helix piercings✨
