I’ve always wanted to run with @toheebolamide__ and he didn’t disappoint!This was one of my favorite runs cause toheeb is such an amazing gist partner - our running pace was shit but hey at least it was a fun run! I really respect toheeb, he eats half marathons for fun! Together we are embarking on the 100km adidas challenge and even though he has run 80km already, I believe I can catch up! RUN THE ELEMENTS VIRTUAL CHALLENGE (Water Quartet), DONE AND DUSTED!!!!It all started as something I absolutely know nothing about. A run club member helped me register, and that was it, I didn't know how to go about it after then.4 weeks later, she came and said have I been uploading my run? Uploading kinni? I haven't opened the app since that day o😩🤭🤣. She collected my phone, and put me through the whole process... okay ooo... I uploaded my runs for that month, and I found out that, ohhh, I have even done about 77% of my category, 200+ kilometres, let me just finish up my mid-may, and wait till next quarter.Guysss, tell me how I went from that, to aiming the first position 🤣 my run club leader is an enabler sha, because, I made sure I did it!!! Even when it seems extremely difficult, yo, I did it. That's when I know I am very stubborn!!! 342%???? 855km??? I did that 🤭The challenge made me run my first marathon, a solo one at that 😩💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾And my run club members, those guys are beast! The way they took this thing ehn, the real MVPs o, because we tool our run club from about 36 or so position, to 7th!!!!! @morningrunclub7 we did it guyss!! Super proud of you all. And you see @dope_pathos @naijabodyboutiqu @godwinekor @daisy_onobu etc. Don't ever be in a competition with them, na hoodlums dem be, dem still plenty like that o. I ran my first marathonThe intention was to train for it, for the next access bank lagos city marathon next yearBut, as the stubborn goat that I am, I woke up and decided to run a full marathon!I am a MARATHONER!!!! 💃🥳💃🥳💃🥳To beat this record or look forward to running an ultra marathon?🤔 I am sure those who saw me on third mainland bridge this morning will be like, who's chasing this boy? Or what am I chasing?My legs almost failed me in the beginning o, again, I'm stubborn 😩😪Send cakeeeee ooooI ran the first 25km Non-stop!!!! Until my throat went dry, i come dey look for water all around adeniji😩🤣 a call came in actually.
