Hey guys, a lot has happened.
My first gift for my twin niece and nephew is finished. Size is always a bit of a challenge... you don't really realize it until the very end. Oh well. They've turned out to be toddler jackets rather than a gift for a newborn. I think they're totally cute.

My home, my style.
I designed my dining area in collaboration with @mlaoui.
I designed the crocheted lamp made from individual granny squares myself. The tablecloth is also handmade by me.
I commissioned the cool artwork from my artist friend @mlaoui, a one-of-a-kind piece just for me!

And I'm showing off my design highlight. It's a cape. This was my first time working with a lace pattern, and I really love wearing it.

Here is my winter project.
The granny squares were made from leftover sweater wool. The turquoise frame is made from a giant 1 kg ball of wool. All without instructions.
It was a very long project: 1 to 2 squares every evening. It all happened while watching a few seasons of Dexter.
I had a lot of fun! Let's go 2026.

This Advent season and Christmas, I felt particularly creative again. I was able to express myself beautifully and find peace and contemplation.

I reimagined familiar things and patterns (cosmetic bags), tried out completely new instructions (Christmas worms), and even crocheted without any instructions at all (fried egg Christmas decorations).

The joy comes to me in several stages. When crocheting and sewing, when sending and packing the parcels, and when I receive the kind words and reactions from my friends that reach me later. Of course, I also thought about my friends who are yet to be born in 2026.

So: joy for everyone and a happy new year ❤️

Here's a really simple piece. A sweater with a cable and lattice pattern. This was my project on my trip to Switzerland. It was a lot of fun and turned out to be a cool ensemble.

Here are a few more items from the “baby collection” section:
1. The pizza romper.
2. The Holland jacket.
3. The teddy bear ears jacket.
4. The velvet romper.

It's difficult to find the right size. The motto here is probably: better too big than too small; mom/dad will dress the baby in it as soon as it fits.
Nevertheless, I have to say that crocheting baby clothes is a lot of fun because it's so quick and entertaining, and I can be so creative with the colors and materials.
So, to all those who have little experience with crocheting: start with baby clothes ;)

It's leftover time again:

I'm showing off my large shoulder bag. It's perfect for shopping, strolling, day trips, or sports. I find it particularly practical when cycling.

The squares are crocheted from pot holder yarn in granny style. The back is made from fabric remnants of a homemade jacket. The inner lining is a remnant of an IKEA curtain and the strap was once an old men's belt. I got the pompom from the Hennef city festival in the early 2000s. It's real rabbit fur, which was okay and very fashionable on hats and bags back then...

I love this work of art.
