✨ New Week, New Declarations✨✨ This week I declare…1️⃣ God supplies all my needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).2️⃣ God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all I ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).3️⃣ His angels guard and protect me and my family (Psalm 91:11).Every declaration is a seed. Yesterday left me shaken.I got some unexpected news that broke my heart. For a moment I just wanted to shut everything down and disappear under the covers. But life didn’t stop.I still had the school run to do.I still had to take my boys to football training. So I wiped my tears, put on my mum hat and kept moving even though my heart felt heavy. On the bus I remembered a sermon I heard over the weekend by Pastor Steven Furtick called “Staying Power.”One line in particular wouldn’t leave me:“The only way God can show us He’s in control is to put us in situations we can’t control.”That line felt personal.I’m the eldest child and the first daughter (Nigerian for context) and I’ve always carried the weight of responsibility. I’m also a planner. I like to fix things, map the next step and figure my way out.But what do you do when you CAN’T plan your way out? When YOU can’t fix it? When the storm feels bigger than you? That’s where God so graciously meets us The sermon reminded me that having faith to start is one thing but having faith to stay is another. Our culture celebrates starting something new. New goals, new ventures, new seasons but God rewards those who stay faithful, who keep showing up even when it’s hard.In Acts 27, Paul was caught in a violent storm at sea. The sailors wanted to jump ship but God’s instruction was to stay on the ship. Their survival depended on staying put even when staying didn’t make sense.Sometimes the safest place isn’t the easiest place it’s the place God told you to stay. That’s what staying power looks like. It’s trusting God in the storm. It’s staying encouraged when disappointment tries to drown you. It’s staying optimistic when your prayers haven’t been answered yet. It’s staying expectant that God is still good even when you can’t see the way out.I could have let yesterday’s news shut me down, but I remembered, The enemy’s attack isn’t just about you it’s about your destiny and everyone connected to your obedience. So I choose to stay.Stay in faith.Stay in hope.Stay in the fight. by @tolasgram

Just a few days ago, I was in Amsterdam as part of the @money20_20 Europe Amplify/RiseUp programme. And if I’m honest, I’m still processing it all.Over three days, I sat in rooms with incredible people from across the fintech ecosystem. I listened to stories of resilience, leadership, courage and ambition. I asked questions. I learned. I reflected. I made friendships that I hope will last long beyond the programme itself. But more than anything, I felt grateful.Grateful to have been selected.Grateful to have had a seat in the room.Grateful that someone looked at my application and thought, “yes, she belongs here.”As a Black woman, a daughter of Nigerian immigrants, a wife, a mum of four boys and someone still figuring out her own path, there were moments when I looked around and thought, “Wow. I’m really here.”Not watching from afar. Not reading about it afterwards.Actually in the room. One of the greatest gifts of the programme wasn’t just the content. It was the people. The conversations over coffee. The encouragement. The vulnerability. The willingness of successful women to share the realities behind their journeys. And now, knowing that I have the support of a mentor for the next 12 months makes me even more excited about what comes next. This experience reminded me that sometimes opportunities arrive that stretch your thinking, expand your network and give you permission to dream a little bigger.I’m leaving with a full notebook, a full heart and a deep sense of gratitude.Thank you, Money20/20 Europe Amplify/RiseUp Class of 2026 🙌🏾Thank you God 🙏🏾 by @tolasgram

Who am I? Where do I come from? Why am I here? What can I do? Where am I going?I first heard these questions in my 1st year of uni when I stumbled on a sermon by Dr Myles Munroe.I was a new Christian, wrestling with identity and desperately searching for purpose and community. It was in those early days I heard the phrase that’s stayed with me ever since:“When purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable.”All these years later, I’m still learning that purpose isn’t a one-time discovery.Listening to @susandeborahs recently, one line stood out to me:“Purpose is always in motion.”That hit home.Purpose isn’t a single destination; it’s a journey of becoming. Of moving with God as He unfolds each chapter of our lives. Here’s what I’m sitting with today:Your identity anchors youYour purpose calls you to serve nowYour potential fuels your contributionYour destiny keeps you moving forward #justsomethoughts by @tolasgram

Last night was such a full-circle moment ❤️🥹We were invited by Nikkita to Date Night at Meridian Grand. The very place where we said “I do” almost 10 years ago. This year, they’re also celebrating 10 years of creating unforgettable love stories.Fun Fact: Nearly 10 years ago, we made history as the very first West African / Afro-Caribbean couple to get married at Meridian Grand Back then, Nikkita, Saheli, and the entire Meridian Grand team were absolutely pivotal in bringing our wedding dreams to life. Their service was nothing short of excellent. Going above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. And since then, Nikkita has done an amazing job shaping Meridian Grand into the stunning luxurious venue it is today. To be invited back as special ex-clients was truly touching. The evening was intimate, the cuisine divine, and the thoughtful details made it unforgettable. From our wedding date printed on our place cards to the keepsake gift we got to take home.It honestly felt like our love was celebrated all over again. 💕#TolaYemi x #MeridianGrand by @tolasgram
