Live Taste Test with OG: EP. 1 🍽️

I think I’ve found my latest Lagos food delivery find, and the funny thing is, I’ve already ordered from @orderplato twice in just three days.

You know when you try a new food delivery service and you’re genuinely hoping it lives up to the hype? Well, Plato did. The delivery was quick, the food arrived fresh, and most importantly, the food was actually REALLY good.

This wasn’t a scripted reaction or me just saying nice things, this was a proper live taste test so you could see my real first impressions. What makes it even better is that they’re open from 12PM to 5AM, which means late-night cravings in Lagos are officially sorted.

Right now, Plato delivers on the Island, but I’m already excited for when they expand to the Mainland because I know so many more people will enjoy having good food delivered straight to their door.

Yaba has a new restaurant and I’m genuinely excited about this one because the aesthetics is beautiful, but thankfully, the food actually lives up to it too.

@milalagos_ng is a new casual dining restaurant in Akoka, Yaba, and I think it’s such a great addition to the area. So if you’re a student around Unilag, work in Yaba, live around the mainland, or you’re simply looking for a new restaurant to try in Lagos, this is definitely one to have on your radar.

I also love that you can now find more restaurants offering this kind of dining experience on the mainland without going to the island. So if you’ve been looking for new restaurants in Yaba, casual dining spots in Lagos, or somewhere different to eat on the mainland, save this for your next food outing.

Some experiences just make sense, and this one in Accra, Ghana was definitely one of them 🇬🇭✨

This was actually my second time doing the beer tasting experience @drinkheritage , and I knew I had to make sure Ore tried it this time because I already knew she would love it.

Safe to say, I was right because we enjoyed it so much that we literally finished the entire beer (as you can see in the clips).

I love experiences like this because they’re not just about the activity itself, they become part of the memories you take home with you. Honestly, I need something like this in Lagos because this is exactly my kind of vibe.

If you’re planning a trip to Accra, Ghana, save this for your itinerary and share this with your travel partner because it’s one of those experiences you’ll be happy you added. And shoutout to Tori and Aku for putting me on to this place.

As an experience babe, little things will always matter to me. Good customer service, Clear communication, staff that actually want to help, a smooth takeoff, and an even smoother landing. That’s exactly why I enjoyed flying with @flyvaluejet .

I’ve heard people rave about ValueJet Nigeria for years, but this was my first time flying with them on an international trip from Lagos to Accra, Ghana, and now I completely understand the hype.

What stood out to me wasn’t just the flight itself, but the entire travel experience. It just felt personal, almost like everyone genuinely cared that passengers had a good experience, and I don’t think they get enough credit for that.

I’ve flown enough to know that every airline gets delays sometimes. What stands out is how they handle them, and ValueJet did that really well. Would I fly them again? Without thinking twice.

Have you flown with ValueJet before? I genuinely want to know if this was just my experience or if they’re really as good as everyone says.

I remember Aku laughing at us when I said we wanted to visit the Black Star Gate to take pictures. Now, guess who eventually took the pictures despite already having a picture taken there? Of course it’s me!

We also spent this day visiting the Osu castle, attending a pop up briefly, trying a restaurant, and being spontaneous! I totally recommend 😂❤️

I genuinely thought I wasn’t a “camera person” but it turns out I just hadn’t met the right people yet.

I spent a day in Accra, Ghana doing something completely unexpected: modelling, filming content and experiencing @sayaacai_ , a beautiful space I kept hearing about.

It was so good trying the matcha and cookies, while giving my honest reactions on camera, and this experience reminded me how much I actually enjoy creating in the moment. So get ready for more of those.

Also, shoutout to the amazing team including my baby @akushika.q , that made the day so fun, chaotic and memorable. Accra definitely really surprised me.

If I had left Ghana without experiencing this safari, I honestly would have been so upset with myself.

There was something so peaceful about being surrounded by nature, feeding these beautiful animals, and just taking in the moment without rushing anywhere.

I’m genuinely grateful that I get to live a life where I can create memories like this. So if you ever find yourself in Ghana, this experience was not overhyped at all.
