If you’re questioning your beliefs about God… spare me 2 mins (and look past the tired eyes). by @toluislight

First of all—don’t ask me if smoking and drinking is a sin. That’s not what today’s gist is about… also, I’m not your Pastor.😂

Secondly, Titus 2:11-14 boldly states it—

“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age… [14]…who (Jesus) gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.”

I couldn’t have said it any better… a revelation of God’s grace teaches us to deny ungodliness. So if you choose to embrace ungodliness—(in Lady Whistledown’s voice) have you any grace my dear?

And when it comes to “making heaven”— this analogy comes to mind. Might not be the best, but let me know what you think…

Say Miss Agbalumo 👀 was enrolled in a school by her parents. She’s a student quite alright. Her fees have been paid and all she needs to do is show up for classes and exams.

But if Miss Agbalumo shows up for the wrong reasons (maybe to find a boyfriend or sell spag—pick one)—she most likely wouldn’t graduate.

In the same way, Jesus paid for our eternal salvation… if we claim to believe, yet our response is the opposite of what someone with a revelation of grace would do—on the last day— me o, I cannot guarantee what will happen… cause that salvation is giving spoilt fish vibes.

P.S: (me overthinking) But wait first, why do you want to live on the edge thoughh? If you’re for Jesus, let us know… no dey talk “God sees my heart”, but your actions are confusing the hosts of heaven.😂 by @toluislight

Collect books, even if you don’t plan on reading them right away.

Read deeply. Stay open. Continue to wonder.

A big thank you to the team, all our Pastors, and Apostle for the time spent to create such a rich course.

I throughly enjoyed the programme.

I’d typically insert an excerpt of my Substack article here (and maybe I will later… when I finally get to writing it), but I feel like I unpacked this trip enough in my highlights.

At this point, my IG has become my digital photo album. It would be a shame if it all goes away one day.

But then again, that too will be a new adventure… just like this trip was.

Life lately… without trending audio.

This is me trying to justify my hiatus… Not sure how convincing this is.

Dear Christian creators… get in here 👋🏾

What have you had to die to recently?

By all means, use hooks and trending sounds… but your primary goal should be to bless lives not virality.

If they criticised Jesus and the apostles, why do you think everyone will like you? Are you Oxygen?

Better brace yourself…

Posts will fade, but the reward is eternal.

Hope you know that?

In case she sees this: Sorry ma, but you’re one of the most ‘serious’ Christian creators I know on this platform. 😭

What do you do for fun?

Set boundaries beforehand and enforce them. It’s not Jesus’ fault if they spoil your reputation.

You’re human too… Some days you’ll feel like you should just shut up and eat ice cream because ‘what do you know?’

But realise that you know enough to show up… so show up however you can (as led by God).

You’re not doing this for yourself alone.

I’m not judging you… but fr, tho… why? 😂

To the Christian creators here… Tell us what have you’ve had to die to recently?

For the record, this doesn’t apply to sexual purity alone…

I wonder what about Christianity makes people so angry… I know some would say it’s religion in general, but I feel like Christianity gets a lot more unnecessary hate and spite.

Either way, let’s address some concerns so they stop stressing us.
