PREMIERE: “Doomscrollin’” 📱🌀

Our new video for the title track of the upcoming album — out now, everywhere. It starts with the most familiar ritual there is: phone off the nightstand, alarm barely silenced, and suddenly you’re three floods and a wildfire deep before you’ve had coffee. That anxious, can’t-stop momentum is baked right into the track — tight garage-pop hooks over a beat that just won’t quit.

The album (same name) was produced by Mike Fornatale (The Left Banke, Moby Grape, Losers Lounge) in his home studio, with the six-piece Murderers’ Row — a crew of NYC pop all-stars — behind us. 12 songs + a bonus track, filtered through Beatles/Beach Boys/Kinks DNA but aimed at right now.

Watch the video now, and grab the single on Bandcamp — link in bio. Sing along, survive together. 🎸

THE BITTER END! The Bitter End
THIS COMING THURSDAY JULY 16TH!
I first met Roderick Hohl at a writing session with the one and only Stephanie M. Hall
I met Tom Shad years ago working with the mighty Mike Fornatale at his iconic Murderers Row performances.
A month or so ago we started writing songs together and we’ve cooked up a few that we want nto share with you.
This is an informal gathering of likeminded musicians performing songs about the state of the world and life and love.
Come on out, sit with us for a little while and let us entertain you! by @tom.shad
