Collegiate Road National Champs

Rollercoaster of a weekend with the team. Took the win in Saturdays road race with @benboroff coming in second. I was hoping for another result in the crit but a crash inside 2 laps to go had me sat on the floor watching the race.

Big thanks to all the lads for helping me pull off the win and thanks to the staff for their support all week.

Hailing from Yorkshire, England we’re excited to welcome @tom___scott to the team!
Tom’s journey into cycling began in the most classic way—his dad bought a bike, heard about a local cyclocross race, and the two of them decided to check it out. One race was all it took. From that moment on, Tom has been fully immersed in the sport.

Over the years, he’s developed a deep love for cyclocross, with Diegem in Belgium standing out as his all time favorite. The massive crowds, the chaotic energy, the iconic course, and the chance to line up against the world’s best left a lasting impression. On the road side, he’s no stranger to the front of the biggest U.S. races and is excited to take on the legendary Cry Baby Hill with the team. Tom earned a US collegiate national title in 2025.

Away from racing, Tom brings a grounded, team first personality. He enjoys spending time with friends, watching sports, and unwinding with a PS4 session. He is currently studying at Marian University and will also be part of the USAC Collegiate All-Star Program. “It feels kind of weird to say my first national title is an American one as someone who’s British,” Tom Scott tells Cycling Weekly.

The 21-year-old Sheffielder was first off in Marian University’s four-rider cyclo-cross relay-winning collegiate team in Arizona last month. How did he end up across the pond with a stars and stripes jersey? An idle Google search.

“I found a USA Cycling page that has all the colleges and universities that have a cycling programme,” he says. “I started scouring through results and previous collegiate national champs and found which teams were finishing higher up. I sent out a load of emails and ended up choosing Marian.”
