Out to Professor Yes for inviting me to play some records on Voices Radio the other week. Feat. my new fave dance move, some old LB Produce, some old YAM Records tackle courtesy of Romaal Kultan and a non-consensual headphone grab. Plus a bonus breakdancing tutorial.

Ask The Artist with @tom_esselle - Live at 20:00 CET! 📡

Next up in our Ask The Artist series is DJ and producer Tom Esselle, fresh from his new release on @wolfmusic

“I have selected a bunch of tracks that l’ve been into lately for this show, varying degrees of house, some techy bits and some others. I had to cancel a few gigs recently so l picked up a load of new, new to me at least, tracks I was planning on playing, along with some tracks from my new EP, and some faster bits that I wouldn’t normally get the chance to play out that I really Love”

Some time last year I recorded a mix for @rhythmsectionhq then promptly forgot about it. I think I was listening to a lot of tech/micro/minimal house rollers back then so I put down about an hour of just that.

It’s now available for you to listen on @applemusic, along with a bunch of other great mixes from RS alumni. Link in the usual place. HMU if you don’t have Apple but wanna have a listen x by @tom_esselle

WOLF proudly welcomes the return of Tom Esselle to the label. Fresh from his latest release on Rhythm Section, Tom follows up his 2022 Praise Bes EP on WOLF with a new four-track collection of deep, dancefloor-ready cuts 🤌

Opening track Livewire sets the tone immediately, pulling you in with a heads-down, UK garage influenced groove. A-side follow-up Don’t Have To is a strong contender for standout moment, pairing luscious keys with a sweet vocal for peak-time soulful impact.

On the flip, Small Talk delivers a quirky vocal sample over an undeniable groove, before EP closer Spaced Out dives deeper, unfolding beautiful, emotive chords. Another standout release that oozes quality from a producer hitting their stride and firmly establishing himself as one to watch.

Limited copies available now at Wax Merchant 👀 by @tom_esselle
