Nothing in life happens by chance – especially not in Perth! 😂✨

You won’t believe this story: I walked up to a man in traditional dress and warmly wished him „all the best on your new journey in marriage” – totally convinced he was a groom right after his wedding! 🤵‍♂️

When people stopped me to say, „Hey, this isn’t a wedding!”, I didn’t lose my cool. I just said, „Well, I wish him all the best anyway!” We shared a laugh and took a selfie. 📸

Turns out, this „groom” was none other than Mufti Menk, one of the most influential Islamic scholars in the world!

When we reached the venue and I saw the massive crowd, things got even wilder:

The official security guard had to step away to pray... so I naturally took over as Head of Security! 🤷‍♂️🔥

I started directing the crowd: „Men straight ahead, women to the room on the right!”

Suddenly, I was full-on organizing the path to the prayer hall for one of the most famous figures in the Islamic world!

And where did this happen? Not in London, Moscow, Milan, or Berlin. Right here in Perth, Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Honestly, this is just how my life goes:

Years ago at the University of Warsaw, I opened a squeaky window during the Dalai Lama’s visit...

The window screeched, the Dalai Lama looked straight up at me, and government security almost panicked! 🫣

Life has the best sense of humor. Huge thanks to Mufti Menk for his warmth, laughter, and incredible energy. Never a dull moment! 🙌 @muftimenkofficial muftimenkofficial #perth #scotland #muftimenk #arabik #funnystory by @tom_koks
