Tonight’s sky over the garden.
Very dramatic light capturing all the colours and shades 🌅 🌸🍁

Something much different tonight compared to my outrageously rude post yesterday. 🫢
If you are still following me… then thank you! 😂🙏🏼❤️

Anyway… a calm Sunday evening in the garden and some lovely lights to show off the stunning flowers.
Hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend.

Great day yesterday sorting out my front lawn.
A full scarify, aeration, top dressing and overseeding.
Hopefully this reel encourages you to do the same to your lawn. It will benefit it massively.. I promise you!
Watch this space folks 🫡🌱🌱🌱

Autumn is the perfect time to do any lawn repairs…
Scuff up and rake bare patches before applying some new lawn seed. You can cover the seed with a dusting of topsoil if you have it but just make sure it’s kept damp to help with germination 👌🏼 🌱🌱🌱

Are you looking for something with the best autumn colour?? Look no further…. say hello to one of my all time favourite shrubs, Euonymus alatus - commonly known as the winged spindle or burning bush ❤️🍂

This shrub is ideal for any garden but if you have limited space, it’s perfect for that. Even in a large pot!
Prefers full sun to part shade as this makes the colours much more striking come autumn.
It turns to the most incredible red and pink hues in early autumn 😍❤️
👉🏼 GET ONE!! 👈🏼
P.S. I have 3 in my garden 😅

I know there’s not been much gardening content on here for a week but us gardeners work our socks off and need a well deserved occasional break.

It’s been such a tiring summer for me, I’ve found it incredibly difficult and exhausting to work in the relentless heatwaves of 2026.
Having this late September break is what my mind, body and soul needed… even with it being so challenging with our almost 2 year old toddler in tow 😅

Our last night in Cornwall and I’m definitely going to miss this beautiful hotel and views over Watergate Bay 🌅 🌊

Back to the graft this week! 💪🏼🌱
Thanks to all my followers and for your kind comments and messages as always. Massive appreciation folks 😊🙌🏼👏🏼
