As promised, we got home, slept for a few days and emptied out the station wagon. We have some leftover merchandise for those of you that could not make a show, didn’t have the money at the time or did not want to wait in line. We lowered the prices a bit to help out with shipping costs.

Most of this stuff will never be available again, so grab it now. This includes the special tour poster. We even signed a handful of them after the final show. We also unearthed a box of the exclusive tour version of the self titled album on vinyl. This was a limited run of 500 where each copy is a random different color variant. HOWEVER, the only way to get this is to be one of the 30 people that purchases the “Complete Waste Of Money” bundle. So hop on it at the link below. Until we meet again….

So, the tour has come to an end. First off we would like to thank our tour mates and dear friends, the ever so mighty Melvins. Sharing a stage with one of the best, all time bands, who happen to be playing at their peak form, was truly an honor.

We would also like to thank the venues for offering us work and treating us so well.

And we would like to thank the millions of fans, who bought tickets, showered, came to the shows and pretended to enjoy themselves.

Most of all we would like to thank our hard working crew. The people we live with while on the road who go unnoticed (by you) if all goes well. XOXOXO

We also want to let you all know that we do indeed have leftover merch from the tour. So, later this week will put it up for sale somewhere on the Blixt merchandise webstore ( https://www.blixtmerchandise.com/collections/ipecac-recordings )

We will even have a handful of signed tour posters. Stay tuned for details. (Yes, we know shipping is expensive.)

We have no idea what will come next for Tomahawk. But when we do, we will be sure to let you know. Stay hungry and kind. by @tomahawktheband

It’s an honor to share the stage with this “cult” band. The Melvins will always be in the highest stratosphere in our universe. by @tomahawktheband

Well, we have hit the halfway point of our tour. It has been great so far. We have been playing to packed stadiums across the United States with more to come, including Salt Lake City, a city that holds special relevance to us, for obvious reasons. But we wanted to share some of the behind the scenes mayhem that comes with any rockstar tour. As you can imagine, it is non stop, semi legal, hijinks, 24/7. NSFW photo log. by @tomahawktheband

The tour is going great. All shows sold out so far. There have been relatively few skirmishes with the Melvins and a few sore bones.
We have been blown away by the audience reaction. Wish we had time to do more shows and play more cities. But this is it for 2026. Not sure what will come in 2027. No plans at this point.

In the meantime we have been notified that Denver, the second night in Seattle and the second night in Los Angeles are all very close to being sold out. Down to 20-30 tickets each. These 3 shows are sure to join the list of sold out shows, so avoid those resale prices, get off your couch and join the fun!

Remember, arrive early! by @tomahawktheband

Mike Patton’s supergroup Tomahawk is in the midst of its first tour in 13 years, sharing the bill with longtime cohorts the Melvins.

Among his many talents, Melvins leader Buzz Osborne is also no slouch behind the lens, and documented the first stretch of this tour from Nashville through New Orleans for FLOOD’s latest “Backstage Camera Roll” entry. Take a look at his images and captions here, and hit the link in our bio for more.

Hey folks!
So the tour is off to a fantastic start. Both bands are dialed in from the get go. The crowds have been very enthusiastic and the bands are eternally grateful. But want to call to attention an issue we are running into. These are packed shows so it’s taking longer to get you all into the venue. There is not an opening band and we don’t want anyone missing a note of either band, so please consider arriving earlier. We are working with the venues to do whatever is possible and holding the show a little bit but we can only do so much. A lot of these shows are sold out and several others are literally down to their last 10 tickets. Oh and by the way, it is worth checking with the venues as some open up a few more tickets day of show. Ok, thank you, be kind to each other, carry on!

Saturday night saw the decade-plus dormant @tomahawktheband resurface to rock at @bbowlnashville for the first time in 13 years. Their set included 18 rippers and a handful of live debuts from the band’s 2021 album Tonic Immobility. Here a couple of clips featuring Duane Denison’s and his signature slithering, obtuse guitar parts that are equally unsettling and catchy.

Click the link in bio to see his Jesus Lizard #rigrundown (spoiler: he’s using the same setup now in Tomahawk).
